-General POV-

The class walks out of the hall, their resistivity assignment turned in. Tomorrow they have an anti-gravity simulation exercise with Professor Cho which has everyone buzzed.

-Ricky's POV-

I walk up to the reception desk where Nini is standing. I lean against the desk next to where she is, smiling at her till she notices my presence. 

"The staring is stalker-ish Bowen, embarrassing really" she raises an eyebrow at me, smirking ever so slightly. We walk a few feet away from the desk.

"The only thing that's gonna be embarrassing is me beating your score on today's paper ace."

"As if" she rolls her eyes goofily, I grab her notebook as a joke, hopping around so she can't get it and then I remember she's short. A hah! 

We're standing pretty close. I raise my arm up swiftly, and she.. did she just wince?

She shuddered away.. My arm drops back to my side cautiously.

-Nini's POV-

fuck. fuck fuck fuck fuck. why. did. i. do. that. 

He's looking at me, his eyes soft, tinted with concern. He wants to say something, he opens his mouth every few seconds but it's quiet. I don't know what to say.

So we stand there in the middle of the lobby, looking at each other.

I let my gaze wander behind Ricky towards the glass doors, and I see him. 

-Ricky's POV-

She's looking behind me now, her face lights up, all the color rushing back to her cheeks. She runs past me towards the main door which is not so far from where we're standing. She jumps into a guy's arms.

I make note of the fact that that's the first time I've seen her initiate physical contact with anyone. He looks about the same age, he has green-ish eyes, he's dressed smartly, his hair neatly styled, he's smiling as she hugs him. "ELTON JOHN" she squeals and I see him groan and roll his eyes, I assume that's not his actual name. 

She finally pulls away from the hug, I feel weird, slightly jealous and I don't even know. 

That is until a tall woman walls into the building. "Gigi!" Nina exclaims as they briefly hug. The man kisses "Gigi"'s head and they intertwine their hands for moment before continuing to talk to Nini.
