The black dog is a supernatural, spectral, or demonic creature that resides in the English Folklore. Often associated with the Devil, is the incarnation of the Hellhound. A creature that is unnaturally large with glowing red or yellow eyes. A sinister, malevolent, and sometimes harmful omen of death. Sometimes unseen but associated with the sound of rattling chains. Can be seen but only during the night.

Rose looked into the creature's eyes and felt her blood go cold. She did not know how to react or what to do. Usually, when encountering a wolf there are few steps one must do to get out alive:
1 Stand tall and try to look larger than you are
2 Slowly back away and maintain eye contact
3 Do not run away
"We're fucked..." she says and slowly tried to back away, but the wolf was following here every move. "Can't you go full on god mode and get us out?" she asked Isis trying to stay as calm as possible.
"I can't..." Isis admits, and Rose could sense that the cat was telling the truth.
"Alright... uhm..." Rose said and tried to think of a strategy "... this will be a bad move." She said and before thinking twice she started to run away realizing fast enough that this was the worst idea. She was fast but the wolf was even a faster. She hoped that once reaching the city center, she will find some refuge but what she forgot was that anyone sane enough won't be out and about once it got dark.
Her next move angered Isis but in the same time, it was a good strategy. She took the backpack off and threw it into a yard before continuing to run. Losing the cat's extra weight helped a little.
She ended up in a dead-end street and she could hear the low growl of the wolf behind her. She turned to face it and she could see how it seemed bigger than before.
She started to slap the bracelet around her wrist. "How do I activate thiiiiiiiiiiis..." she complains as fear darkens her every thought. "Please..." she pleads and lucky for her, the crystal listens and soon turns into the sword.
She looked into the eyes of the beast as she took a defensive position. With both hands on the grip, she was not willing to go down slowly. To her luck it did not attack, it was staying there feeding on her fear.
When the wolf finally attacked, she lost her defensive stance, leaving out a scream when its sharp fangs pierced the skin of her left hand. She started to hit the wolf's muzzle with the sword's pommel, forgetting that the weapon in her hand was a sharp instrument. Somehow, she managed to hit the wolf's eye making the creature take a step back and let go of her arm. She was losing blood, a lot of it. She head was feeling light but at the same time she could feel a fire ignite inside her. She did not know if it was her fight or flight instinct or something else, but she knew that she had to get out of there alive.
The pain from the bit was making its way up the shoulder but she was happy that when the wolf attached again, she managed to dodge it and when her blade cut into the side of the beast, she could feel her own heartbeat faster than ever before. She was nowhere near winning but at least she was fighting back.
The wolf manages to dig its claws on her right foot making her lose balance and fall to the ground almost losing the grip on the sword. It was getting harder to keep up as the blood loss was making her vision go blurry. She did not want to die but that thought wasn't in her mind in that moment.
A low growl made the wolf step back a little as a new wolf appeared. Rose felt defeated. She barely managed to fight one, but now that a second joined, her hope was crushed into a thousand pieces. She wanted to scream, and curse in frustration but no words came out of her mouth. With the last strength she had, she looked at the newcomer.
