When the Gods' Black Angel vanished from the border, rumors started to travel through Oether. Some said that it will come for them, some said that the creature was dead, but none were right. However, they decided that it was time to create anew and more creatures that they could control. One was an Ice Angel who could control water and air, one was a Shadow Demon with the ability to control Fire and Earth. The first two in a line of experiments.
To no one's surprise, these two turned their swords against their creators and freed themselves, vanishing on the realm of humans and blending there for the centuries to come.

It was a slow day at the Inn and Eliseea was checking constantly her phone, either to see the time, either to see if Rose gave her any sign. She went to check at the shop, but she was nowhere to be seen. She went to her house, but no one answered. She hasn't seen her friend in a couple of days, but something did not feel right. She had a bad feeling, a lump in her stomach ad she could not seem to shake it off. Her worry was only worsened due to the bracelet that Rose wore in the past months.
Eliseea's line of thought was broken when someone pressed on the bell from her desk. She got up from the char and walked to see if there was a new guest or an old one in need of help. She could not help but smile a little when she saw that the one disturbing her was Leo, the proud owner of Sunset Horizon Hotel, her employer's direct competition.
"Hey." She says as soon as she reaches him. "You should have called; my boss will kill me if she sees you here." She said letting her bubbly self the place of her gloomy attitude.
"Yeah, I know..." he said and rubbed the back of his neck. "Are your busy tonight?" he mumbled and looked around.
"I am free tonight... why?"
"Let's have a drink, we have to talk about Rose and stuff..." he said and looked around. "Damn this place looks cute, I am amazed since I've never been here."
Eliseea frowned at him and let out a chuckle. "Yes... you were. Remember, you came when Rose was staying here and gave me a letter for her." She said and saw how Leo froze.
"What letter?" and that was a response Eliseea did not want to hear because that meant that things in their town and life were more complicated than they thought.
------------ 6 P.M. That same day ------------
"You are lucky I could leave an hour early" Eliseea said as she sat on the chair. They chose to meet in a small restaurant near the city center. It was not too crowded which made it perfect for the discussion they were about to have.
"I assume that if you told your boss who you are meeting, you would still be working, and I would have a short angry man yelling in my office about how I want to steal his employees." He said and laughed softly just as the waiter brought them two menus. The two ordered beef stake with a side of truffle mashed potatoes and a bottle of Riesling.
They ate in silence, each with their own thoughts. Leo was trying to figure what was the letter and Eliseea who gave her the letter. Once they finished eating, Leo broke the silence.
"You know she has the Book of Shadows... that one book." He said and took a sip from his glass. "Is just a matter of time now."
Eliseea nodded "I saw her with a cat that weirdly resembled Isis. No matter what we try, we might be late. But at the same time, we have no way to tell as she barely talks to either of us." She said and thought a little. "Do you think the letter might be related?"
"I don't know but I assume that the letter might hold information regarding the book. How did you get in the possession of it anyway?"
"Well... someone that looked just like you came in and asked me to... oh shit! Of course..." she said and facepalmed.
