"What are we going to do?!" Fenrir yelled as he took a pillow to cover his head when things started to fly from the shelves.
Leo jumped and kneeled on the bed in front of Rose, used his body as a shield against anything that could come her way. "I don't even know what is happening!" he yelled back and tried to calm her down but her screams only got worse with each second.
When silence fell back into the room Leo moved back a little only to observe that her hands were starting to be covered in vein like patterns that rapidly were going up to her shoulders. He grabbed her hands and held them into his "Rose, listen to me, no matter what, you have to breath. Try to calm down." He said and when she grabbed his wrists and started to tighten her grip he jumped a little as he did not expect it.
Rose looked up and her blue eyes were now a combination of gold and red. Cold sweat was covering her forehead and she felt like she was now leading a battle against herself. "I can't..." she said and tightened her grip more making Leo clench his teeth because of the pain.
Fenrir jumped to his rescue and tried to make Rose release him but he had no chance of winning against her. "Rose... let him go." He said calmly but he was beyond that.
Rose took a few deep breaths and after a while she released her grip but now the patterns started to grow on her neck. They looked like her skin was ripping apart and revealing a dark-purple stone underneath. She felt another jolt of pain, but this time on her back which made her let another scream out. "My back..." she said before hiding her face back into her knees. She hugged them and started to dig her nails into her arms, leaving deep bloody marks as she tried to counteract the pain.
Leo moved and looked at her back. The white shirt Eliseea dressed her in, showed two bloody lines on each of her shoulder blades. "Fuck..." Leo mumbled before looking at Fenrir. "Give me a knife or something to cut. NOW!"
Fenrir got up from the bed and ran downstairs only to come back with a pair of scissors. He handed them to Leo and took a step back. "What is happening?" he said concerned for his friend.
"You know how we are part angel and shit... well we have wings." Leo started saying as he started to cut Rose's shirt. "I assume hers want out." He said and took a step back from the bed trying to keep a safe distance.
"Is it... painful?"
Leo shook his head. "I assume that since she was cut from magic for so long... it might be. I heard is not pleasant the first time you get yours. I do not remember how it was when it happened to me." He said thinking that it has been thousands of years since that time.
Rose was shivering as her entire body was not covered in cold sweat. She could feel the pressure and pain coming from way deep under her skin. She was holding onto herself even if something deep down was telling her to not fight it anymore. Her head started spinning as dizziness was installing.
A few minutes passed and she felt like she will faint if she kept longer so she finally let go. When she did, the pain was gone but replaced soon with a heavy weight on her back that felt familiar. She lifted her head and looked left and right before looking at Leo and Fenrir that looked as pale as a ghost. A pair of black wings was now filling the room.
Leo jumped back. The moment she let go and her wings came out, they pushed everything in their way at a rapid pace, making the room look more disastrous than the few moments before. The place looked like a band of robbers just finished looking through everything.
Fenrir was safe closer to the door but the sight in front of him was one he has not seen in ages. He did not expect this to happen so suddenly, yet he was always bad at estimating and planning, guessing what might happen was on that list too.
