Unrequited by Clandestine

The sky grew dark
We didn't notice the man lurk
Our dawn was stolen
The tents set ablaze like Salem

A hand was offered
My life was hired
The ribbon on my hair
Was forbidden to wear

My skin was made a fool
Yet I was their best tool
Stories of my unfortunate tale
Was entertaining for the white male

I still fantasize
Those features
That I prioritize
And received many seizures

The name of the creature
Was forgotten after a fever

Yet the sunset
Was comforting
For the unrequited
