Our lives are different and rare
But we breathe the same air.
Families tell us not to be wild
When our souls are secretly acting like a child.
Life is no game
when you show no shame
But curtains can’t hide the lies your husband does.
His heart now doesn’t fly like a dove.
The activities you both adored is burned in ash.
Now the deal is done leaving you a rash.
Time flies and he’s pleading you to come back
But we’re strong and leave him off the track.
You never needed him to make you feel complete
You now have someone better to think.
He was the one at fault
So don’t let him get near the cliff just to see you fall.
The memorise of the past is no more
So stars shine to give you a new door.
Turning the handle to see whats inside
A man was waiting to lead you in the night sky.
