We all rushed out of the room and Kara took me down one corridor whilst Jordan took Freddie down a different one. When we reached the dressing room we saw that it was only 3 o'clock. Kara put her face in her hands and shook her head. She laughed to herself for a split second and then she turned to me and said "right, since its earlier than we thought, that means we can spend more time making you look perfect" and we got to work. A few hours later I was in a long, beautiful yellow dress that shone like the sun, my hair fell in gentle curls and framed my face perfectly, and my make up made me look 3 years older.
Kara and I went outside into the courtyard, where we saw all the other tributes with their stylists, making final touches to their outfits. A girl of about 13 or 14, who had blonde ringlets and looked like a china doll, was standing with a boy that reminded me strongly of Ron Weasley from Harry Potter. We heard a bell being rung and Kara lead me over to the Manchester cart. Freddie was already there, he was wearing a black suit, lined with black sequins, put together so well that it didnt look at all tacky or tasteless, that looked a bit like the one he had worn to the reaping. As the horses lined up, the wide doors at the front opened, and the roar of the awaiting crowd boomed all around the courtyard.
Looking back to Kara and Jordan for a brief indication of consent, and we were off.
