We rode out of the doors of the courtyard and into the night. The horses were taking us down long, winding roads, that would eventually end up at Buckingham Palace. The royal family had gone missing during the war, so the Palace was now owned by the President. Freddie gripped onto my hand and i held onto his just as tightly, the carriage was very unstable, and the last thing we wanted was either of us to fall off.

We reached Buckingham Palace, and all of the horses formed a semi-circle, facing the balcony. President Kemp appeared, welcoming us and wishing us luck in the arena.

After that, we repeated the whole journey back to 'Death Row'.

When we arrived back at the courtyard, we managed to get our first proper look at our competitors. There was a black-haired boy in his late teens who was quite intimidating, with his broad shoulders and muscly arms. From somewhere behind me I heard a woman calling the name 'Martino', and he turned around, facing me for a brief second, until he moved on to look at a very tall, slender woman behind me, who went rushing up to Martino.

Seamus and Marie came up behind me, saying that we had to get back. Freddie and I wanted to get a better look at the other tributes, but Marie said that we'd have plenty of time for that tomorrow. 'Of course' I thought 'tomorrow is the first day of training.'

A/N -HIYYYYAAAA PEOPLE!! I said that things will be speeding up a bit more and i wasnt lying, sorry if this part moved a bit TOO fast for you though. Anyway, in other news.. WHOS SEEN THE NEW CATCHING FIRE PORTRAITS!!!!?? my friends know how excited iv been for them and they did not dissapoint!!

But however a couple of questions about them (you can skip this bit if you want):

1. who else was kinda disappointed that President snow was the final one? (sorry if i spoiled that for you)

2. what did you think of them?(that probably should have been number 1!!)

3. which was your favourite?
