Chapter 13

I ran all the way back to my bedroom, slamming the door behind me and throwing myself onto my bed. I think Seamus and Marie were following me at first, but then they must have seen that I was in o mood to talk to them so they went back to wherever they had followed me from.

How could I have been so stupid?. Im never going to get a half decent score with that show of weakness. This was pretty much all that occupied my mind for the next 20 minutes or so, until I had a thought. I dont want to get a brilliant score. I want Freddie to be the one people are tripping over eachother to sponsor, so he might have a chance at winning

After this I felt much better, I wiped away the tears that had started to trickle down my cheek, got up off my bed and made my way back to the dining room. Tomorrow I will get my score, and almost immedietley whisked away to have my interview done.

Freddie had come back, and he was talking to Seamus in a low voice, I couldnt quite catch what he was saying, but, judging by his face, it wasnt too good. Seamus placed his hand on Freddies shoulder, evidently trying to comfort him. They caught sight of me and instantly moved back into their seats, trying to make out that nothing had happened. I sat down and helped myself to some food.

"How did it go?" Seamus said, to both me and Freddie.

"Alright" Freddie said, but he didnt look up from his plate.

"Same" I said. I couldnt think of any other response that would not be lying or worrying. Seamus just sighed and asked us what happened.

I explained, and he told me not to worry, but Freddie wasnt as reponsive, he just sat there, barely touching his food.

Silence followed but it was only brief as after what could have only been around 30 seconds, Seamus told us to go to bed.

A/N Ok so i just wanted to say that the actul games will start REALLY soon like literally in the next 2 or 3 chapters so bear with me, its coming!!
