Today my beautiful girlfriend Y/n is supposed to be visiting her family. She wanted to see her grandma but she was going to be out for a week. Y/n is a family girl, she never stops talking about them, so I understand why she needs to go see them. But if I'm going to be honest, I don't want her to leave. I really don't like sleeping cause I have a lot of nightmares but Y/n is always there to make sure I'm okay. I remember once I had a really bad nightmare and Y/n was there. She was able to calm me down and she even sang me to sleep. She's my safe space and I love being and sleeping with her. For the next week I have to be able to sleep without her. Which is going to be tough since we haven't slept in different beds since we got together.

We have been together for 7 months. I'm really going to suffer without her but I'm not going to tell her that. She really needs to see her family and I don't want to stop her from doing so. So I guess I just have to suck it up and deal with it.

We are in Y/n's dorm room and she just finished up packing her bags. "I'm going to miss you so much baby." I told her. She looks up from her bags to me and smiles. "I'm going to miss you too my love. But it's only going to be for a week and if you really need me I'll come back early." "There's no need for that. You deserve to be with your family." She walks towards me and puts her arms around my shoulders and kisses me. "Don't miss me too much okay ?" "Easier said then done."

She giggles, damn am I going to miss her laugh. "I'll call you everyday then." "Promise ?" "I promise." She says and smiles at me. I give her one last kiss until she pulls away. "Okay baby, it's time ! You wanna walk me to the gates ?" I smile at her. "Of course." I give her a kiss on her cheek and grab her bags. "Babe you know I can grab my own bags." "What ? Did you hear something?" She laughs. She takes one of her bags out my hand and interlocks our fingers.

I walk her out to the gates where her mom is. Her face lights up when she sees her. "Y/n baby !" "Mom !" Y/n let's go of my hands and drops her bag and runs to her mom. I smile at their interaction. Her family is amazing. They are such nice people. "Ohh you look beautiful. Have you been eating well ?" "Yes mom, Xavier makes sure that I do. " Y/n says and smiles at me. Her mom looks up "Xavier ! Come here, give me a hug !" I go and hug her mom. Her mom gives the best hugs ever. Y/n takes after her mom alot.

"How have you been ? Everything okay ?" "Yeah I've been good. Just spending my doing work, drawing and hanging out with Y/n." "Aww you guys are the cutest. But you ready Y/n ?" "Yes let me just get my bags." "No I got it. " Her mom tells her and grabs her bags. "It's okay my mom, I got it." "No it's okay. I got it, you guys need to say your goodbyes anyway. It was lovely seeing you again Xavier." "It was nice seeing you Miss y/l/n." She smiles at me then puts Y/n's bags in the trunk and gets in the car.

Y/n turns to me and she gives me the tightest hug ever. "I'm going to miss you so much my love. " "I'm going to miss you too baby." I tell her and kiss her on her head. "I love you Xavier." "I love you too Y/n." We kiss each other one last time before we let go. "Bye!" She says waving at me as she gets in the car. "Bye !" I yell back. I stay there until the car drives off.

Instead of going back to the dorms I went to my art shed to paint. I paint for hours. I paint random things, just trying to distract myself. I absolutely dread when night falls cause it basically tells me I have to sleep. Plus I can't go days without sleeping or else I'd loose my mind. I get finished up with my last painting and decide it's best to go back to Nevermore.

As I'm about to leave I get a call from the love of my life. "Hey baby whatcha doing .?" "Nothing much, just got done painting and now I'm headed back to the dorms." "Listen baby I know how it's hard for you to go to sleep." "Yeah." "I have a little surprise for you." "What is it ?" "Well you have to wait and see when you go back to your room." She giggles. "Just tell me. " "Well if I told you then it wouldn't be a surprise now would it ? Okay well I have to go now, I'm going to help my mom cook some salmon. But I love you and have sweet dreams tonight." "I love you too Y/n and ill try."
