Xavier and I have been friends since the start of the semester. At first we weren't really close, just a smile and wave if we saw each other in the hallways. But recently we have been doing almost everything together. Which made me develope a crush on him. Everything he does makes me smile. I've been trying to work up the courage to ask him out, but I always chickened out at the last second.

Right now we are in Miss Thornhill's class. I already got done with my work and now I'm just staring at Xavier. He has a beautiful side profile. He has his hair in a bun with loose pieces of his hair in his face. He looks so focused on whatever he was drawing.
He's so attractive.

"What was that y/n?" Miss Thornhill's asked me. I froze in my seat as everyone's eyes are now on me. Ain't no way I just said that out loud. "Nothing Miss Thornhill." "Uh huh." Everyone went back to focusing on whatever Miss Thornhill was saying but Xavier. He was still looking at me.  Ooo boy, you have no idea what you are doing to me right now. After what felt like an eternity he finally turned back around and kept drawing.

Time skip til class is over

As I was packing up someone came up to me. "Hey y/n". I looked up and saw Xavier. "Hey Xavier, what's up ?" " Can you meet me in my art shed at 5 later on today?" "Yeah I'll be there." I told him with a smile. "Okay see you." He smiled and waved bye to me. I ran to my next class hoping the day will fly by.

For the rest of the day I couldn't help but smile. I'm on my way to my dorm room to get ready to meet up with Xavier. I wonder what he wants to tell me. What if he wants to stop being friends with me cause he found out about my crush !? No stop it y/n. Ugh I need to get out my head. Maybe Enid can help me. I grab my phone and text Enid.

STOP 😭

Enid cracks me up sometimes. I put my phone on the charger and start getting ready. I change out of my uniform and throw on some jeans with a nice shirt. I already have a little bit of makeup on so I'm good to go. I grab my phone and text Xavier that I'm on my way. I grab a jacket just in case it gets cold and start walking out my dorm.

Time skip

I made it to his art shed and I knock three times. The door swings open and there is Xavier. I can tell he has been painting since there was paint all over his hands and clothes. "Hey y/n come in." He steps aside so I can get in. I walk inside and start looking at all his paintings. I notice that one painting had a white sheet over it. "Your one hell of a drawer. Your paintings are gorgeous." "Thank you."

"So why did you want to meet me?" I said. I was dying to know. "Well..okay I have had a crush on you since we met and I wanted to ask you out on a date." I stood there stunned at his words. He has a crush on me. OH MY GOODNESS HE HAS A CRUSH ON ME !!  "YESS." I basically tackle him in a hug.

" You have no idea how much I wanted to hear those words. I too have also had a crush on you" I said. He gives me a goofy smile and says "well I'm glad that the feeling is mutual cause I honestly have no idea what I would have done if you said no." Xavier and I start laughing. "Oh I want to show you something." He says and walks over the painting that has the white sheet on it.

I walk closer to the painting. He pulls the white sheet off and reveals that it's me and him. We are cuddled up next you each other watching a movie. "Do you like it ?" "Like it I LOVE IT! Thank you !". I start giggling to myself cause I found the painting really cute. "I'm glad you love it." He gives me one of his goofy smiles again.

We stayed in his art shed painting for the rest of the time and we had a blast. Im not much of a painter but he gave me some really good tips and helped me paint something. As it was getting darker we decided to go back to Nevermore.

He walks me back to my dorm room. "Thanks Xavier for today. I had fun." "Me too". We hug each other, with my hands around his waist and his arms around my shoulders. He gives me a kiss on my forehead. "Goodnight y/n and ill see you tomorrow for our date." "Goodnight Xavier." And I blow him a kiss.

As I unlock and open my door I find Enid already in there. "How did you get in-" " Don't worry about that." She tells me and I laugh to myself. "Tell me what happened between you two !" Enid and I stayed up talking about what happened and about the date tomorrow. She even helped me pick out my outfit for it. I very blessed to have a friend like her.

She fell asleep before I did. As I was about to fall asleep I got a text.

I fell asleep with my phone in my hands smiling at the text.
