From a faraway land
Trots the tiny horse
Pulling his cart full of wares
To help keep things on course.
To the warm and vast plains
The Tiny Horse did arrive
Pretty flowers and trees
In this land they did thrive.
And then from ahead
A voice he did hear,
"I'm so very anxious,
Oh my goodness, oh dear."
It was Angus the Antelope
Who was in such a state
He'd drank nine cups of coffee
Nine cups, not just eight!
"Oh, I do not know
What will happen tomorrow
If my plans don't work out
It will be such a sorrow!"
"It is my calling
To help those in need
For I am The Tiny Horse
The helpful Tiny Steed."
"But what of tomorrow?
So much I do hope
I've made many plans
If they fail, I shall mope!
Will it rain? Will it storm?
Do you think it could snow?
What will happen tomorrow?
How I wish I could know!"
The Tiny Horse sat
And thought for a bit
This problem was new
And he thought about it.
"Tomorrow is tomorrow
This always shall be
So look at today
And don't miss its beauty."
"But what of tomorrow
It makes me so scared
Something might happen
That I'm not yet prepared!"
"Plans are important
But do not forget
Plans often must change
On this, you can bet.
If it is the future
You only think about
There are so many joys
That you can miss out.
So lets focus upon
Enjoying this day
Make a few plans for tomorrow
But mostly let's play!"
So they talked and they played
All afternoon
Enjoying the day
Until the rise of the moon.
"And may I suggest
Instead of so much coffee
Ginger, chamomile
Or herbal chai tea?"
And so Angus the Antelope
His worries did falter
He still made some plans
But plans he could alter.
And To the next land
Traveled the Tiny Horse
Pulling his cart full of wares
To help keep things on course.
