"10 minutes too late," Alhaitham stopped the timer before looking at your soul leaving your body.
"I can't do this it's too hard I give up I'm moving back to Liyue I don't care," you grumbled a stream of complaints before shutting the textbook and looking back at Alhaitham.
You wanted to chuck all of your math homework out the window.
"I think I'll just drop out actually, and become a chef with my friend from Liyue," you convinced yourself, desperate to do anything but this.
Exam season was coming up fast and although it had been over two weeks since you confessed, it didn't stop Alhaitham from giving you rigorous tutoring sessions almost every day. Let's just say....they haven't been going all that well. It was so tempting for you to just hit your head against a wall and throw out all your books.
"Let's try a different problem then. You can have 11 minutes this time," Alhaitham said, nodding at your paper.
"Wow I get one whole minute extra, thank you so much," you muttered sarcastically, massaging your forehead. This problem would normally take you at least half an hour to solve....
"Yes, I felt generous today. You have 10 minutes and 52 seconds left," he concluded, sitting down on the chair beside you before pulling out a book.
You scrambled for your pen and got to work almost immediately. Squeezing your brain for any answers you could remember, your hands started flying across the page as you wrote whatever came to mind.
"Ouch!" You flinched as a sharp pain stung your wrist, forcing you to drop your pen.
Alhaitham looked up from his book, his brow furrowed in concern.
"It's nothing, I just sprained my wrist a few days ago," you explained, gently massaging your hand before continuing your work.
You were about to move to the next page when Alhaitham took your hand in his, interrupting you.
"Waitwaitwait I'm almost done with the problem, just one mo-"
"Forget the problem, this is more important," Alhaitham murmured, completely focused on examining your wrist. "We need to go to the hospital, now."
You shook his hand off, sitting back down. "It's just a small injury, I'll be fine"
"The nurse's office," he concluded, staring at you with a more serious expression than you had ever seen - and that was saying something.
"Fine, let's go then," you sighed, realizing any attempts to persuade him would be futile.

"Don't move," Alhaitham murmured, gently wrapping a bandage around your wrist, his brow furrowed in concentration.
"Isn't this...a bit much?" you asked, looking around you. Rather than taking care of the injury back in the professor's room, Alhaitham insisted that you rested in a bed in the nurse's office. It was late after school hours and the room was mostly empty.
So here you were, sitting on a hospital bed over a mere sprain in your wrist.
As overdramatic as you thought it was, you couldn't help but feel slightly pleased that he cared this much. You watched him working with utmost caution to deal with your sprain and caught yourself admiring every little detail about him. From the way his hair fell over his eyes as he bent forward in concentration or the way his lips were pressed together as he finished bandaging up your wrist.
Without thinking, you reached out and grabbed his shirt, pulling him close as you put your lips on his. Reluctant at first, he eventually gave in to the kiss, faintly smiling against your lips.
Your hands immediately flew to his neck but the sharp pain that pierced your wrist made you flinch, abruptly interrupting the moment.
"I told you to rest," he said, shaking his head in disapproval as he lay down next to you.
"Yeah, yeah whatever," you scoffed. "Those math problems will kill me before my wrist does,"
He couldn't help but let out a small laugh, wrapping his arms around you as you snuggled closer to him. He rested his chin on top of your head as you lay in his embrace. Gently stroking your hair, he placed a soft kiss on your forehead as you smiled to yourself, cherishing every single second that you were in his arms.

Thank you everybody for reading my crap story, I hope you simps had fun losing brain cells this whole time <333 I definitely lost some while writing this. (LMAO I WAS ALL OVER THE PLACE WHEN I WROTE THIS) But did that stop me from finishing this mess? No.

P.S.
Alr y'all now that that's over, just wanted to say that if mom, you ever find this (pls don't).... I would like to reiterate the fact that I am completely opposed to any type of pre-marital eye-contact, or hand holding or romance or touching or anything. In fact, mom, I wrote this story to show that these things are horrible and no one should ever do them. See, Y/N and Alhaitham made pre-marital eye contact and also he visited her late at night before marriage. Then bam the next day she almost gets killed and dies a brutal death and would have gone to hellfire and her whole life gets messed up. So, kids, always stay healthy and happy and don't do bad things like Y/N and Alhaitham, again, I am 100% against this mom, and wrote this to teach a lesson, thank you and goodbye simps.
