BEYOND THE KILLER'S MIND
Chapter 10 - Beyond... just friends.
Finally when Marceline woke up she kicked the blankets off of her and sat up. Ben and I looked at her in confusion. Marceline's eyes were still closed and she was hunched over like a tired child. I stuffed my phone in my pocket. Already remembering the pictures of Marceline and I.
"Morning sweet cheeks." I exclaimed walking over and sitting next to Marceline on the bed.
"Where did you go?" Marceline asked innocently rubbing her eyes.
"I went to eat breakfast with Ben. You want some?" I asked rubbing her head.
Marceline looked up and her eyes were open now. But her hair was honestly a mess. It was however, so darn adorable. Her face when she just wakes up is like a splash of cool water to your face. It woke you up instantly to stare in awe at her dazzling untouched tired features of her face.
"You left me!" She whined huffing.
"I'm sorry. Did you sleep good?" I asked.
Marceline nodded her head and smiled. Her smile was even brighter than ever. I don't know why but I suddenly started to smile too.
"I need to give you back your shirt." Marceline said leaning over the bed and grabbing her backpack from the other side, "Carry me to the bathroom."
"Why?" I asked already starting to pick her up.
"I need to change dummy. Just hurry up before I forget." Marceline demanded.
I loved Marceline in the morning. She for once was really nice and cute and adorable. She still hadn't said a mean comment to me yet.
I set her down in front of the bathroom door and she walked in. Then I made my way back to Ben who was sitting at he table drinking a cup of coffee and watching TV.
Next thing I know Ben, Marceline, and I were in the car on the way to Ben's house fighting over what donut was the best. Ben liked the peanut covered donut, I liked Boston Cream, and Marceline couldn't choose between vanilla sprinkled donuts or cream filled one. Ben dropped me off first. Which was kind of weird since Marceline would have been dropped off first since she was the last one to be picked up when we left for the amusement park.
Entering my room I felt lonely without Marceline. I felt incomplete without her next to me. I've grown so use to having her around. As soon as she left I literally just felt empty. Without her laugh or smile I just felt like sitting around doing nothing. If Marceline wasn't with me I wouldn't have any motivation at all to do anything. I'd just be a slob who lived in his mothers basement.
First things first I unpacked my things and put away my backpack. Then I took out my phone and dialed Marceline's number.
