Chapter 4 - Beyond...mistakes.

Have you ever seen your crush with someone you've never met and your crush gets a kiss on the forehead from that person? Well I have. Now I feel like crap.

"I miss you!" Marceline chirped smiling at the man in front of her.

"I missed you too. How's school going?" He asks her wrapping his arm around her shoulder.

"Good! Are you here to visit? How long are you staying?" She asked him.

"I'm only here for two days." He looked over at us and smiled, "Made some friends already? Your on a role girl. Oh! I see Ashely's still here. My girl hasn't caused you much trouble has she Ashely?"

My girl!? That man has no permission to call Marceline, 'my girl'!

"Yes! She complains all the time and is sooo lazy! I need to start getting paid to watch her. She's causing so much damage." Ashely laughed. 

"Why don't you introduce me to everyone?" He asked Marceline sitting down on the step next to me.

"Alright Cuddles!" Marceline smiled as she sat down next to him.

Cuddles!? Is he her boyfriend! Are they already on a nick name basis!? What the heck!

"That one is Mr. Dad, that one is Mr. Silly, and the one next to you is... Mr. Annoying." Marceline told him first pointing to Ben then Louis then me.

"Why all the Misters?" Ben asked.

"She likes to name everyone Mister or Misses or whatever." The man replied.

"Guys, this is Lucas." Marceline told everyone.

"Is he your boyfriend?" Louis asked her.

Lucas laughed and picked up Marceline then sat her in his lap and hugged her, "Marcy makes a wonderful girlfriend."

"So you ARE her girlfriend! Nice one Marceline, sweet score!" Louis laughed.

I felt like punching this guy.

"Yeah we are dating. He slaps my butt and gives me cuddles all the time!" Marceline said waving her hands in the air.

"They're cousins." Ashely laughed slapping my head.

After Ashely assured that they weren't dating I felt like a boulder was lifted off my heart. I was so glad that they weren't dating.

"He gives me cuddles when I'm lonely!" Marceline chuckled.

"Why did you slap me!?" I demands from Ashely.

Ashely bent down to my ear and whispered, "I know you like her."

My eyes widened and I denied the fact that I did. I was grateful that Ashely didn't say that out loud though. I don't want anyone knowing anytime soon.

"Wait, do you even have a boyfriend Marceline?" Ben asked her.

"Nope! I've got no time for romance." Marceline answered.

"Would you ever want one?" Ben asked getting more serious.

"Uhh..... I've never thought about that." She replied.

"She doesn't ever want one. Because if you get one I'm going to have to compete with him to stay your cuddler." Lucas laughed.

"Nah! You give the cuddliest cuddles!" Marceline squeaked.

"Hold on, Lucas shows up and Marceline is all of a sudden acting like a normal girl. Nate is acting really quiet. You guys give each other cuddles. Like what is going on?" Louis objected looking confused.
