Chapter 13 - Beyond...her

In all her beauty, Marceline stood smiling at me. My cheek still burning from where she had kissed. I loved the girl in front of me. The only thing separating us was the couch.

"What?" Marceline asked after I realized I had been staring at her. But I also caught her staring back at me with a glint in her eyes. In addition to this, I didn't miss the way she shifted and glanced down at my lips.

I found myself smiling. "Come here."

Surprisingly, she walks over and sits next to me on the couch. Closer than I would have thought she would, our legs are almost touching. She fixes her hair behind her ears before she turns to me with curiosity filling her face. "Okay. Now what?"

Instead of saying anything, I lift my hand to her face and cautiously cup her cheek. Marceline freezes and I think I may have made a mistake, but she looks at me then looks down to her hands in her lap. Her other hand comes to push my hand to her face once more and she closes her eyes, even if just for a moment, before she looks back up to me again.

I take this as a sign that she's comfortable and I move my other hand to her arm. My fingers brush over her warm skin until I reach her elbow. I grab her elbow and pull her body closer to me. I slowly start to lean and I catch Marceline's eyes flicker to my mouth. "I love you." I say quietly.

"I hate you, Nathaniel." Marceline whispers. Our lips are mere centimeters apart and I can feel our breaths mix. Her voice sets alarms off in my head and before I know it, my lips are crashing into hers.

Marceline grips my hand that is on her face and kisses me back with a passion. I'm more than happy to find the feeling mutual. Her lips move in sync with mine and she hastily allows me entrance. I deepen the kiss and lean more into her. Marceline has to lean back and her hand momentarily leaves mine to catch herself on the couch before she falls backwards. She pauses the kiss to come up for air before we continue in the heat of the moment.

My tongue roams and I can feel my body heating up as Marceline's hand reaches up to my hair. Her fingers rake through my hair and she tugs at it, pulling it closer. I move my hand that is on her face to the back of her head and push her closer to my lips. Marceline turns and her body is now fully facing mine. I stop the kiss and look at her intently. I move my hand to grab onto Marelinces hand that is supporting her. She falls onto her back and I waste no time in hovering over her. She swings her legs onto the couch so that she is laying and I lower my head to continue our kiss.

Again, Marceline quickly opens her mouth and I resume my exploring. Marceline's tongue fights mine for dominance this time and I decide to take charge. I gently bite down on Marceline's tongue so it can't go back and it remains in my mouth. I then start to suck on the tongue only. Marceline arches against my body and a soft, quiet moan leaves her. I place my hand on the small of her back and pull her back up into a sitting position.

Marceline's hands move to go around my neck as she wriggles her way onto my lap, our kiss never breaking. I'm still sucking on her tongue when she finally finds a comfortable spot. I put my hands on Marceline's thighs and gentle grip them. Marceline's hands move to my shoulders as she tries to pull her tongue back into her own mouth. I won't allow it though. A smirk reaches my lips as I let go of her tongue only to bite down again and suck on it, all the while my tongue massages hers. A small whine escapes Marceline and I can feel her pout against my lips.

I've never kissed anyone as passionately as I did her and with so much desperation. Marceline somehow was able to pull her tongue out and she stopped the kiss to take a few breaths. "Nat-" I didn't let her finish. My mouth was already on hers again, demanding entrance. Marceline parted her lips once more and my tongue dove to find hers as we fought for dominance again.
