BEYOND THE KILLER'S MIND
Chapter 12 - Beyond...secrets.
"Nate!" I heard a whisper as my eyes slowly started to flutter open.
My vision was at first blurry but then cleared as an image of a figure standing over me caught my attention. Surprised I first attempt to get up but I was stopped by an arm wrapped around me and a tiny face buried against my chest. Trying to look down I see a familiar set of jet black hair.
Marceline...
"Nate!" I heard another whisper.
Opening up my eyes and getting adjusted to the light coming from the window I look up and see Louis smiling at me. The smirk he had on his face sent chills down my spine.
"Lou? Why are you up so early?" I asked curious.
"Just wanted to play a little prank." Louis lifted up his hand from behind his back and showed a giant snowball covered in yellow.
My eyes widened and I immediately knew what he was going to do.
"If you even dare..." I wanted him, "Marceline is here sleeping and I swear I will kill you if she wakes up."
Louis just chuckled softly and moved closer to me. I struggled to get my arm out of Marceline's grasp without waking her up. In a rush to swat Louis' hand away.
"Louis!" I warned half whispering half yelling.
If he got snow on Marceline at all...and if it was yellow snow covered in pee...oh how he would suffer. I'd make sure his pain lasted days- no. Years.
Before I knew it he had placed the snowball on my head and I balanced it so that it would not slide off and onto Marceline's head. Which so happened to be under my chin. She was against my chest earlier but now she had shifted somehow without me knowing and ended up under my chin.
"Louis!" I hissed as I felt the cold melting drops of ice inch down my face.
Louis just stood there and laughed trying to contain it. But failing horribly.
I felt the snowball start to drop down and before I could stop it, it slid down to Marceline's face. It went right over her cheek and onto her eyes and nose.
She woke up violently and nearly punched me in the face before she realized it was pee snow and looked at me. Marceline sat up and stared at me. I put my hands in the air and shook my head. Then I pointed to Louis who was still unaware of Marceline's presence, and his death.
Marceline kicked the blankets off of her and stomped right over to Louis shoving him to the ground brutally.
"Don't you ever do that again!" Marceline screamed. "When I am sleeping you DO NOT wake me up! Especially in that way," Marceline pointed to the melting snowball on the covers, "if you ever do something like that again...I will personally make sure you walk outside in nothing but your underwear and freeze to death then have your remains get eaten by a pack of lonely wolves, all the while videotaping it to tell those who comes to your funeral that you were a bully and woke up an innocent girl by throwing pee snow at her face."
Marceline sounded dead serious.
"Okay. I'm sorry Marceline." Louis mumbled in fear.
"Now get out and don't ever come in here again unless I tell you too." She demanded pointing to the door.
Louis looked at me with pleading eyes asking me to help him. But I just shrugged and shook my head at him. He did deserve it in a way. I warned him about it too. Just not directly stating the dangers.
