Jess's P.O.V

I awoke to the sun blazing through the curtains. It seemed quieter than it had in months, no walls of the house were being hammered down with a sledgehammer and Avery hadn't been solving anymore mysteries.

I turned over to face my boyfriend, who was still passed out beside me. His blonde hair has it's usual messy look to it in the morning. I turned over to look at the alarm clock beside our bed, which read: 9:30. Grayson hadn't slept in this much in months.

I slightly nudged him and couldn't help but be excited to see those perfect grey eyes which would be filled with sleep.

When Grayson opened his eyes he didn't smile, his eyes showed no happiness. The room darkened a little bit, the sun heading behind the clouds. Grayson leaned forward and whispered in my ear: I hate you for leaving me.

I startled awake, my body in a cold sweat, my breathing heavy. The room was dark, the curtains shut. I looked to the side of my bed to see a still sleeping figure.

The boys brown hair was ruffled and his face was so peaceful. I grabbed my phone which was resting on the nightstand to check the time: 10:30.

I threw my legs over the king sized bed and walked into the bathroom. I walked over to the massive glass shower and turned on the hot water. I threw off my baggy t-shirt and stepped into the steaming shower.

I let the water drizzle down my body, the hot water burning away last nights nightmare. After scrubbing my body and washing my hair I turned the shower off and entered the rest of the steam filled bathroom. I grabbed two towels, wrapping one around my body and the other around my hair.

When I left the bathroom the boy was awake now, his chestnut eyes kind as he smiled at me. I went over to my closet and grabbed my outfit for the day and headed back into the bathroom.

I put on a tank top paired with baggy ripped jeans. I took off the towel on my head and combed through my knotted dirty blonde hair. I took out the blow dryer and blowed my now shoulder length hair, dry before putting it up in a ponytail.

I pulled out my mascara and put a little bit on which helped brighten up my hazel eyes. I exited the bathroom looking somewhat presentable.

My boyfriend smiled at me as I walked into the room again. This time I walked over to him and sat down next to him on the freshly made bed.

"Just because you made the bed and smile at me doesn't mean I'm ready to forgive you yet." I muttered. Alex took my hand and lightly rubbed the top of it.
