The next morning Kaoru and Hikaru came in. Hikaru with pink hair and Kaoru with blue. Oh my stars they are really pulling through. I thought with a chuckle. I was sitting at my desk when Kyoya walked in. "Good morning Kyoya." I said. He took my hand without a word and pulled me out to the now vacant hallway. "Is there something wrong?" I asked. "How did Hikaru know about our relationship?" He asked. "Hikaru and Kaoru knew when it happened. They were listening in on us." "So you confirmed it?" "Kyoya it's Hikaru and Kaoru, I'd be more nervous about Tamaki making a big deal, these two know better when it comes to me." I told him putting my hand on his shoulder. "My love, I've already warned them and told them your reputation comes first." I said to him. He sighed and nodded. "I'd just hate to see what would happen to us if my father found out about us." He said caressing my cheek. I smiled and leaned into his touch. "Kyoya...everything will be okay. If you don't trust the twins, trust me." I said. He nodded. "Alright." He said kissing my forehead before we entered the class.
Class dragged on and eventually lunch rolled around. It seemed the boys were still dragging on the charade. "I'll have the A lunch." They said together. They glared at each other. "No give me the B pasta and D salad." They then said. "I'll take the F cappellini with the barbarie duck!" They then switched. "Hold on make that a foie gras in perigueux sauce!" They said, scaring the poor cooks. "Stop copying me! Why don't you just leave me alone!" They said, very clearly irritated. Haruhi stood next to me observing the situation. "Amazing. Perfect unison even when fighting." Haruhi said. "I guess it's a twin thing maybe." I said with a snort. "I was wondering what all the fuss was about." Tamaki said from next to me making me jump and fall into Kyoya's arms. I lifted myself out of them and looked behind us. The rest of the host club was with us. "I can't believe the two of you are still fighting." Tamaki said, disappointed. I bit my tongue, refraining from blowing their cover. "You're a disgrace to the host club." Tamaki chastised. "We've had enough of this!" Honey-senpai scolded. "You're both to blame for this fight!" He said. He then pulled out a cake...still not sure where that came from but because we're meta I'm still not going to question it.
"Hika-chan and Kao-chan, I want you to make up and go halfsies on this cake, kay?" He said cheerfully. "But I wanna have a piece too, so I guess we're gonna have to go thirdsies." He interjected. "We're not going to be able to split the strawberry on top though. What should we do? Maybe I should just take it." He said, the irritation between the twins growing even more. "Mori-senpai, you might want to stop him before he makes it worse." I said to the taller boy. He nodded as Honey tried to then figure out what to do. He picked him up as Honey-senpai asked the twins about the strawberry, pissing them off more. He then brought him over to me. "You're making it worse." Mori said. "Just leave them alone Senpai...they're a little...irritable right now." I said smoothing his hair out of his face in a motherly way. I went back to my place next to Haruhi. "Oh Haruhi! I didn't expect to run into you and Reina in the dining hall!" Tamaki said. I blinked as he took the back of my hand and kissed it in a gentleman way. I could see Kyoya's blood boiling over that. I gave him a look that said "calm down. It's good for business." He agreed and went back to scribbling in his little black book. "I was worried about those two, so I followed them here without even thinking! I always bring a boxed lunch and I was just going to eat it in my classroom." She explained. "And you Reina?" "Same as Haruhi. When she told me about their fight this morning, I followed after them when I saw them coming to the dining hall. Usually I'd eat in one of the other music rooms and focus on the next performance for the host club." I answered, dismissively. He eyed the box lunch in Haruhi's hands, and seemed to go into another short circuit. "I DON'T CARE IF MY BOX LUNCH IS IN AN EMBARRASSING HEART SHAPE; I WILL EAT IT!!!" He declared loudly. Kyoya who got his own lunch sighed exasperated.
"I have no idea what you're talking about, but it's evident that your fantasies are completely incoherent." He pointed out. "Aren't they always?" I asked him to which he nodded as if to say, "fair point." "Haruhi. You want to sit here with me?" Hikaru asked her. "Big sis! Sit with me!" Kaoru begged, sitting me between him and Haruhi. Well at least that's two people between them to stop them for a moment from fighting. "So what are those? What'd you two bring for lunch?" Hikaru asked us about our box lunches. "Yesterday's leftovers and a rolled omelet." Haruhi and I answered. "Reina actually cooks our dinners despite my dad's protests." Haruhi explained. "Indeed." I said. "You wanna switch with me?" He asked us. "I had to order something different than Kaoru, so I ended up with stuff I don't really like." He said as he took Haruhi's lunch. "That's fine with me." She said. "Reina do you want to split it?" She asked me. "Sure Haruhi." I said looking down at the tray. "Wow." I breathed out. We took the forks and took a bite out of one of the foods. Our eyes widened. "Whoa." I said. "Delicious! It's delicious isn't it Haruhi." Tamaki praised. "I'm so glad you like it! I want you to eat like that everyday." He said dreamily. Tamaki came up behind Haruhi and looked at Hikaru. "Well done Hikaru! As a reward I'd like to trade you my lunch for your boxed lunch." Tamaki said. "No way!" Hikaru dismissed. "C'mon trade with me." He said. "Forget about it, ask big sis Reina, she has the same thing." Hikaru said. "Sorry, my food isn't for sale." I said dismissively. "So Haruhi, Big sis, is that any good?" Kaoru asked us. "How would you like to taste mine?" He asked. "I'm good Kaoru." I said sitting back.
