"You know Shiro, you and I are so much alike." Tamaki said. "You poor kid." Haruhi mumbled. "Please don't compare Shiro to yourself Tamaki dear. It's unflattering to him." I said. Shiro ignored mine and Haruhi's comments and stood up. "Then you'll help me become the kind of host that can make any woman happy?" He asked excitedly. "Of course, making women happy is the sole purpose of being a host." Tamaki started. "If this is what you really want Shiro, then you'll have to figure out how to use the material you already have." Tamaki continued to explain. "What does that mean?" Shiro asked confused. I stood up as my boyfriend interjected. "You see here at the Ouran Host Club, our policy is to use our individual personality traits to meet the needs of our guests." He explained. "For example: There's Tamaki, who is the princely type." I started, as Tamaki held a white rose. "The strong silent type." Mori stepped up with a black rose as Kyoya said what he was. "The boy lollita type." I added as Honey stood next to me with a his pink rose. "The little devil type." Kyoya said referring to the twins one with an orange rose and one with a blue rose. "And the cool type." Kyoya said as I handed him a purple rose. "You see sweetpea, it's all about variety." I said. "And now, our group is complete with the addition of Reina and Haruhi." Kyoya added. "Haruhi the natural type." I said. "And me, the ladylike host." I said wrapping my arms around Kyoya's waist. "It would seem that right now, we have a perfect blend of characteristics, so it's going to be difficult to find a new type for Shiro." Kyoya said. "Interesting notion. But surely there's a type we have glossed over." I challenged.
Hikaru tilted his head. "If you go by his age, he should be the boy-lollita type." Hikaru stated. "But Honey-senpai's already got that covered." Kaoru said. "And I don't think he wants someone stepping on his territory." I said looking at Honey who was cuddling Usa-chan with tears streaming down his face. "Is he gonna replace me?" He whimpered. "Oh come on, is that all you've got?!" Renge's voice said. We all turned and there she was, on a rig, coming up from the ground. "What's with this place? It's supposed to be a music room!" Haruhi mumbled. "Sorry to interrupt lady and gentlemen, but what's with the lackluster character analysis? I must say I'm quite disappointed." She sighed. "Reina. Help me out here. You said it yourself. There's a type we must've glossed over." She repeated my sentiment. "Well as a mild otaku I know that." I responded to Renge. "I couldn't agree more!" She said. "Alright then Miss manager, how would you work Shiro into our collection of characters?" Tamaki challenged. "He can't be the boy-lollita, because Honey's already got it covered." Tamaki explained. "He's right Renge. But still I feel like there's one we have over-looked." I said looking over the boys. Cool, strong and silent, mischievous, natural, princely, boy lollita, lady-like...what are we missing? I thought to myself observing my student. "You just don't get it, do you?" Renge snapped. She looked to me as if to say, "Help me explain this." I obliged standing next to her. "Now listen up! There are plenty of girls out there who have a thing for younger boys or boys with baby faces. Correct, Reina?" She asked me.
"Correct." I confirmed. "These girls would be considered Shota fans." Renge added and I nodded in confirmation. "However, Shota can be a very broad category. So it's important to know that the genre can be broken down into smaller sub-categories." Renge continued. "For example: shota fans with an interest in lollita boys would favor a boy like Honey." I said gesturing to Honey. "But- my student here is different." I said gesturing to Shiro. "If I had to pick a character for him." Renge said, her gears turning. "Yes! He'd be the naughty-boy type without a doubt!" Renge said. I made a hand gesture to the twins and the cage raised. Renge then blew a whistle. "Now to play up the naughty-type you have to wear shorts!" She said crouching down. okay!" She said. "You've gotta have bumps and bruises." She said. "Give him a couple of scars!" she added as Hikaru and Kaoru drew some scars and placed some bandages on him. He got up and she blew the whistle again. "Run like a spoiled child! Make it reckless!" She ordered. He did as she said. "Now I want you to trip and make it big!" She said after blowing the whistle again. He tripped over a rope we didn't even notice was there. I wanted to run to him but Kyoya held my hand. "Are you okay little boy?" Renge asked feigning concern. She blew the whistle. "Now give them your catch phrase!" She directed. He wiped his cheek and looked up. "No big deal, it was nothin'." He recited. "That was perfect! Absolutely perfect, Shiro." She squealed. "That was outstanding." Tamaki said clapping. "I never knew you were such a great coach, Renge." Tamaki praised her.
