Arely's POV
I got my hair and makeup done professionally. I went back home and got on my mermaid turquoise dress that had sequins on the top half. I also put in my jewelry and my glittery stilettos. I heard a honk outside. "The limo's here," I smiled. I scratch my purse and left the house. I got into the limo and the driver drove me to Alexis' place. the trapper open the door for me and I got out. I walked up to the front porch and knocked. She opened the door. "He --" I couldn't even finish saying hey to my best friend. "Whoa."
"Come inside," Alexis smiled as she rolled her eyes at me. I did and closed the door behind me. "What do you think?"
"Are you sure you didn't get your hair and makeup professionally done?" I asked.
"McGee was with me the whole day," Alexis smiled. "I came home at three and got to work."
"Are you ready to go?" I asked.
"Just let me get my shoes on," Alexis smiled as she sat on her couch. She had a Paris box on the table. "Okay."
"Paris?" I asked.
"My dad bought them as a gift for me even though I already had my shoes picked out for prom," Alexis smiled. She got out opened toe stilettos that had rhinestones all over them. They also had a white little bow with a strand of pearls. "These are beautiful." She put them on the floor, picked up the front of her dress and put them on. She stood up. "And they're surprisingly comfortable."
"You look like a princess," I smiled. "You might even win queen tonight!"
"Wait, what?" Alexis asked.
"Tonight's queen is the one who dresses to impress and their date is the king," I smiled. "You my friend, might win the votes."
"Well, I don't know," Alexis shrugged. "We need a picture. McGee." She handed him her cell phone. "Please."
"Okay," McGee replied holding up her phone. Alexis put her left arm around me as I put my right arm around her. We put our free hand on out waist. "One, two, three." He took the picture. "You girls look beautiful."
"Thank you McGee," Alexis smiled.
"You two should get one together," I smiled. "Yeah, I'll take the picture and I'll think of the pose." Alexis handed me her phone. "Okay. This is how it's going to be. McGee, you stand right here." I adjusted him. "Alexis." I placed her right in front of him. "Okay now wrap your arms around her him behind and, Alexis, you put your hands on top of his." They did. They smiled and I took the picture. "So cute!"
"Her dad might kill me if he saw those," McGee sighed.
"He doesn't have to know," I smiled.
"And I'm not a co-worker," Alexis smiled. "Isn't that Dad's rule number ten?"
"Number twelve, actually," McGee replied.
"We should get going," I smiled.
"He's going to follow behind in his car," Alexis smiled. We got into the limo and the driver drove us to NCIS headquarters. I followed Alexis inside. There was someone waiting at the elevator. "Barry." They hugged. "I'm glad you made it."
"Your brother is cute," I smiled.
"And taken," Barry replied. We got into the elevator and Alexis clicked the third floor. "Is your father scary?"
"He can be intimidating," McGee replied.
"Sorry," Alexis sighed. "Special Agent Timothy McGee, Barry Allen." The elevator opened and we stepped off. She walked to her father and hugged him. "Hey Dad. I brought Arely and Barry with me."
"You must be the guy my daughter told me about and your ability," Gibbs said, shaking Barry's hand. "Thank you for being there for her."
"It was no problem at all," Barry smiled.
"Barry and Arley, this is Tony and Ziva," Alexis said gesturing towards them. An older guy along with a younger guy, and a girl joined us. "This is Abby, Ducky, and Jimmy." The girl was holding a red rose corsage and pin. "Dad, Arely wants me to have a date to prom."
"I'll do it," Tony smiled.
"Ziva," Gibbs said.
Ziva hit him in the back if the head. "Ah," Tony groaned.
"Her date is meeting her at prom," Alexis added.
"Arely, who should be her date to prom?" Gibbs asked.
"Honestly, I can't choose between Tony and Barry," I sighed.
"This is how we will do this," Gibbs replied. "Since Barry and Tony are both nicely dressed, we will flip a coin." He got out a quarter. "Barry."
"Tails," Barry smiled.
Gibbs flipped the coin. "It's on heads," Gibbs sighed.
"Yes!" Tony exclaimed. "Sorry, junior. Maybe next time."
"She's my sister," Barry stated.
"Ohh," Tony sighed.
"Here," Abby said handing Alexis the pin and Tony the courage. "Your suppose to put it on each other."
"Arely, hold this," Alexis said handing me her phone. I put out on camera and started a video. "I don't wanna prick you."
"You'll be fine," Tony smiled.
"Shut up," Alexis smiled back. She got the pin on him. "There you go."
"I have a feeling this goes on your right hand," Tony replied.
"It goes on her left," Abby started. Tony put the corsage on Alexis' left hand and I stopped the video after. "Picture time!" We spent fifteen minutes for Alexis to take pictures and selfies. I was pulled into a few. "I like that picture of us."
"I'll send it to you," Alexis smiled.
"We gotta head to prom," I smiled.
"DiNozzo, be a gentleman," Gibbs stated.
"Yes, boss," Tony replied.
We went down to the limo. "Barry, before you go, thank you for still coming all the way down here," Alexis sighed. "Even though, you're not the one I'm taking to prom."
"I told you already," Barry smiled. "I'm only a phone call away."
"Thank you," Alexis smiled. We got into the limo and headed to prom. "You're the last person my dad would want, to take me to prom."
"Can I ask you something?" Tony asked. Alexis looked at him. "Does your dad ever slap you in the back of your head?"
"Well, she hasn't been living with her dad for the past seven years," I explained. "So, it had to be no."
"Exactly, Arely," Alexis smiled. "But I do know what it means."
"What does it mean?" Tony asked.
"Well, as my dad puts it: A slap to the face is an insult; to the back of the head is a wakeup call. That's what he told me," Alexis shrugged. "But I'm sure my dad sees the best in you."
The link came to a stop. "Yeah," Tony said as the door opened. He got out and people clapped. He helped Alexis out. My date came to the limo and helped me out. Tony and Alexis waved. We walked inside and found a table. "People really love me."
"They don't love you," I smiled. "They love the limo."
"Yeah," Alexis smiled.
"Alexis, Tony, this is my date and boyfriend, Drew Ryan Scott," I smiled. "I was with him all day. I went to his concert with my makeup and hair done."
"Why didn't you bring your friend?" Drew asked.
"She was with probie all day," Tony chuckled.
"Anyways, what Tony is trying to say is, she was with McGee all day and she didn't know," I nodded. "So that's why she didn't go to the concert."
"Our last DC concert is Saturday and then we have a break," Drew smiled. "Maybe you'll like to come to that one."
"As much as I'd love to, I can't," Alexis sighed. "Abby and I are going to a Hunter Hayes concert that night at six."
"Our concert is a noon," Drew smiled. "You'll have plenty of time." A slow song came on. "I love this song."
"This song is my favorite song," I smiled.
"Come on," Drew said pulling me onto the dance floor. "You're dancing with me."
"In here at prom with you, Drew," I smiled as we danced. "That's more than I could ask for."
