Forces of Nature [S1/EP4]

On a darkening night, gloomy clouds form together and dance at two puppeteers' hands, They both make commands amongst the clouds, swinging their arms, bringing down extraordinary volumes of thunder and lightning. 

Y/N was swinging across the bridge, spidey senses alerting her to the unnatural weather while making a phone call to her mother. 

"Uh-huh, yeah I know about the curfew." She lands on top of the roof of a passing car.

"Please stick to it," Y/N's worried mother's voice buzzes through the phone, "I know how much you like to go to the library, but by 10 pm you have to be home. That's the rule in this family, Y/N." 

"I understand." Y/N mumbles, jumping onto another car

"Stay safe sweetie, I'll see you then." Her mother hangs up the phone. 

She is about to put the phone away when her senses suddenly alert her to the clouds above. A giant spark of lightning in a mix of blue and yellow strikes down in her direction, at incredible speeds she makes a backwards flip off of the car she was on to dodge the lightning.

"WOAH!" She swung her webs to land on a safety rail. 

The beam of light blurs out Y/N and the cars around her vision for a couple of seconds, all the vehicles slowing down and slamming into each other in the process.

What comes down from the lightning are two bold standing figures, one coloured in a mix of purples and blues, the other a mix of yellows and gold. 

"Let our fun begin!" The sparky yellow figure calls. The other purple figure nods with a delighted smirk.

Uh oh, Y/N thought, swapping her phone with the Teen Titans's communicator, switching a button that beeps in a neon red alert. 

It looks like she'll need an excuse for curfew tonight...

Back at the Teen Titans tower, five minutes before. 

Beast Boy pulls a strap onto a steady hook in a shape-shifted form, turning back once the strap was secure. He carelessly holds onto a watermelon pink water balloon in his hands, making a devious chuckle at his master plan. 

"This is gonna be so sweet!" He confidently says to himself.

"What are you doing?" Raven alerts Beast-Boy, resulting in him throwing and catching the water balloon intensely. 

"Woah- AAaOoh!" 

"Please tell me this isn't one of your ridiculous pranks." Raven raises an eyebrow.

"Okay!" He stands tall and just, "It's not a ridiculous prank, it's a brilliant one!" he egotistically chuckles, before going back to the plan, "Remember how Cyborg put red dye in my shampoo and I turned brown for two days? Well, sister, it's payback time!" He puts his fists together. 

Raven rolls her eyes in the background, with Beast lifting a blueprint to properly introduce his new invention. 

"I give you... The Beast-Boy Insta-Lube 9000!" Draws on a sketched outline of the idea, "See, when chrome-dome trips around the corner. The foot tugs the string, the string trips the lever, the lever releases the mother-of-all rubber bands..." Beast-Boy caresses the balloon in his arms, "Which sends a balloon-load of motor oil flying right at him- and BUSH!" 

His face leans to Raven, "Pretty clever huh?" 

"... You're a genius..." Raven blankly stares.

"It's just a little clean-dirty fun.". The door to the bathroom is heard opening, alerting beast boys' ears and onto the final phase of the plan, "Here he comes!"
