Jump City, Wednesday Night

The sophisticated city night was at its usual pace, the moon peering over amongst the shady clouds while the city lights took place in brightening the streets. Rarely any cars drive along the empty streets due to most, if not all, the people of Jump City finished work; peacefully sleeping in their homes or city apartments.

Everything was silent, except for the slam of the roof-top escape door, above Jump Cities' notorious city bank.

Two buffed criminals, Flink Marko, and Alex O'Hirn run across the rooftops carrying bags worth of their deviously stolen money that partially glow through the dark beige bag. Tiny gold coins fall out of the bag with every risky jump they make.

Flint stops to scold Alex when he jumps across, "Here we are getting the big score, and you're droppin' it everywhere!"

"Not my fault the bags weren't made for this type of gig!" Alex counters, showing off the loose fabric. "Slade could pick up the loose change for all I care."

The other thief turns back around to look at his next jump, "Just know that you won't be taking my fair-share this time," Flint re-secures his bag, "and quit it with the slandering, you never know when the boss is watching."

Alex mumbles under his breath, waiting for Flint to make the final leap towards their escape. Though instead, Flint gets flown backwards by a string of web. He's tossed into the sky, dropping the bag of money and gold beside Alex, who turns around already knowing which masked culprit is about to end their big-time score. A neon red light shaped like a spider beamed over him like a signal.

"Oh, no..." O'Hirn yells, "Not again!"

"Uh-huh, again!" Spider-girl snarkily replied, Flint, webbed onto the side of a water tower, "Seriously, what's Slade's point in hiring you guys if I end up sending you to jail ninety percent of the time?"

Flint called out, "Just wait till I break out of 'ere, I'll punch you to the curb!"

Spider-girl took an irritated breath, "Oh come on, you've said that, what, four times now?" Alex began running towards her, preparing to throw a punch, "When's the next time you guys get creative!"

With a punch coming towards her, her spidey sense detected the right moment to duck. Alex, not being able to control the friction he made, stumbled to the ledge of the roof. Before he could turn around, a web string swung him backwards onto the ground.

"So O'Hirn," Spider-girl waited for Alex to get back up, "I need an honest review here." When he was up, he tried to fight over and over again, although she was dodging most of his mediocre attacks. "The Spider-signal... Is it too much?" She caught his fist, completely unbothered by the strength, "This is my first night using it, but to me, it screams 'Batman' more than your 'Friendly Neighbourhood Spider-Girl.'"

Alex stepped backward and away from her, now trying a new escape plan. He picked up Flint's bag of money and began to run away without his criminal accomplice, yet she shot a string of webs at the bag, and both began to pull against the other to get the money bag.
