A/N: Just some clarification since a lot of you were confused! By this time, we're already inside our Avatar body:)

"Jake betrayed us. I'm expecting that you won't do the same, Y/N. Stay centered on what you need to do." Doctora Jane whispers, one of her hands placed on my cheek and one tightly holding my arm.

I'm fully aware that I'm pretty much a hit-or-miss agent. It's really either I fully mess up or I flawlessly fulfill my tasks. I didn't really expect them to take that risk on me but I guess it's just because they're tired of assigning marines, navals, or soldiers who are too emotionally reliant and lacks, um, brains.

"I'll get it done, woman." I softly smile at her.

"Good luck on your journey, Intelligence operative Rose!"

"Be careful and stay alive!"

"We'll be waiting for you!"

A series of goodbyes articulates from behind me as I walk away from the ship. I know too well that most of them are trying to stick their head up my ass knowing that I may perfectly execute the job. Idiots.

At the very least, this spy thing would be a good break for me. I'm pretty sure a promotion is on the way after and they know it too. They also know that it'll give me power and influence more than what I already have now.

"Hah. This would be a total piece of cake." I tell myself, a blatant proud smirk on the side of my lips.

__

I'm guessing it's sometime at 7 PM right now. A couple of hours have passed, probably 6, since I left the ship. This means that it's been that long since this stupid fucking tail's annoying me. The night had long fallen too and I can't see a damn thing.

"I should take shelter." I quietly mutter as I walk from a hometree-or what the Na'vi's call Kelutral- to another.

I spot an abandoned burned jet a few walks from where I am. It's small and had been cut in half but it'll do. I've actually come to notice that there are quite a lot of those in Pandora--definitely remnants of the human-Na'vi wars from the past few years.

After a few more walks and swings along the trees, I reach the jet. I immediately slump down and lean on its exterior, too tired from walking for hours and too cold from the lack of clothes.

Although, ofcourse, the world won't let me rest.

A familiar hiss echoes from around me. An Ikran's hiss.

Intelligence operatives rarely work outside computer laboratories, so it's just natural that most aren't war capable. It's an exemption for my case, however. I wouldn't settle for something as simple as brains. Strength is needed too.

I lousily stand up with my kunai rope dart- a weapon I made myself for self-defense a few months ago -and looked around to trace the creature.

There it was. The moonlight shines on its beautiful ethereal eyes. Too bad lots of these creatures have died because of these brutal wars and most that are bonded are then left alone. They truly deserve better.

I take my stance as I stretch my weapon--the kunai blade on my left hand and the end of the rope on the other.

The Ikran walks closer and as it does, I take steps backward, luring it into my desired proximity.

"Come here, girl." I smile, excited for whatever's about to happen.

I sense the tree nearing from behind me so I clench my weapon harder, ready to fight.
