The Date

Tenitra's POV:

"I hate her, Mom. I hate her", I say to my mother. "Well, what happened? You said everything was amazing with her." "That's what I thought until I found out she was cheating." My mom's face was full of surprise. "What!".

I can't believe her. I did everything she wanted me too. I was considering quiting since she hated the long hours I had to work.

I would've killed for her. Now I want to kill her.

~~Flashback~~

We were sitting at our table. It was in the back so the light wasn't very prominent. She recommended this place. She said "They had the best sushi". My favorite.

It all started when I saw our waiter. She was a 5'9/10 woman with flawless skin. To say she was beautiful would be an understatement.

When I saw her, I immediately looked at Solo. She had what you called a "wandering eye".

But when she saw her, she looked as if she had seen a ghost. I tightened my grip on her, making her look at me.

"You ok?"

"Yea, I'm fine"

When the waiter walks up to our table she looks at the both of us then she reverted her gaze to my left hand. When she sees the ring, her faced is filled with an emotion I didn't understand. But before I could study it more, it was gone.

"Hello, I'm Coco and I'll be your server tonight. Can I start y'all on some drink?" She says with a smile.

"Hello Coco, I'm Tenitra. And I would like the Cava, please."

"Yea, and I'll have the Chianti."

Coco doesn't even look at her when Solo spoke, it confused me but I ignored it.

Coco walks away from us and Solo releases a breathe I didn't even notice she was holding.

"What is it?"

"Oh no, I'm good"

"Are you sure?", She looks annoyed so I stop talking.

After about 5 minutes, Coco comes back with our drinks.

"Thank you"

"You're welcome. So are y'all ready to order?"

We both nod our heads.

"Ok so, what do y'all want?"

I decide to order first. "Ill have the Makizushi Roll"
She writes that down.

"And I'll have the Spicy Tuna Roll"

"Ok, I'll have that out her in about 10 minutes"

"Ok, thank you again"

She smiles and walks away. "I'm gonna go to the bathroom before we eat".

"Ok." I get up and go to the bathroom. After I'm finished doing what need to do, I leave the bathroom. Before I could get back to my table, Coco stops me. "I have to tell you something." I stay silent so she could talk to me.

"So first things first, I didn't know she was in a relationship, I swear." I already know what she's about to say, so I'm fighting tears.

"We slept together a couple of times". I still don't say anything because if I do, I'll start crying.

Before she could say anything else I walk away for her.

I get her to our table and take my ring off. Solange gives me a confused look. "Baby?"

"Don't "baby" me. Did you cheat on me?"

"She's lying, I swear". "I know when you're lying." "Listen Chelle-"

I walk away before she could anything else. Instead of talking my car, I get an Uber and go to my mom's house.

Solange's POV:

I've tried calling her but she won't answer. I have no idea where she went and it's scaring me.

Instead of going home, I go to Bey's house. I just needed someone to talk to. I get there at about 9:32 pm. I turn off the car, get out of it, and walk towards the door.

I knock hoping that Bey was still awake. After a few seconds, I hear her voice, "Who is it?", "It's me, Bey".

She opens the door, "Why are you here so late. I thought that you and Tenitra were at dinner."

"Bey, I fucked up", She moves over so I can enter and I do.

We walk over to the couch and sit down.

"What happened?"
