No Sleep

Thursday

The next morning, Kelly woke up and she immediately felt like something was off. She looks to her left, noticing the alarm clock. It read 3:42. It was an hour before she actually had to get up so she decided that she should get more sleep.

After about 10 minutes of tossing and turning trying to get back to sleep, Kelly decides to start her morning early.

In the Knowles household, the twins have been awake all night with a fever. Since the twins aren't getting any sleep, Beyonce isn't either.

Blue was trying her best to stay up and help her mom, but she fell asleep at around 11:30 p.m. Given that she could always put the kids to bed, Bey wanted to call Solange, but after how their previous discussion went, she opted against it.

Bey felt really bad about blowing up on her, how she did. Solange came to her for help and Bey turned her away.

In the Knowles-Williams' household, it was going terrible. With Solange on the couch and Michelle on the floor on the other side of the couch, there was complete silence between the two. The only noise that could be heard is the occasional car driving past.

You could see that they still loved each other, even with what happened, but were too angry to admit to each other.

After a couple hours of silence, Solange decided to break it.

Solange's POV:

"Umm, hey Michelle?". Michelle looks up at me.

"You remember Lauren, right? Well her mom is a marriage counselor, she has been for some years now. Do you think that umm- you would maybe wanna go see her?"

She stares at me for a few seconds, no detectable emotions in her eyes, then looks away.

"Ok" she says barely audible.

"I'll uh try to see if she's free this weekend."

"Ok"

She gets up from the floor and goes upstairs, to our bedroom I'm guessing. We are both exhausted from all the arguing we did the day before.

Before I was going to lay down, I got a call. I pick up my phone and saw it was from my sister. Even though I didn't want to talk to her, something felt off. She never called me this early before.

I pick up the phone and answer, "Hello?"

"Hey Solange" I hear the kids in the background crying. "What's wrong?" I say, my voice laced with worry.

"The- the kids aren't feeling well and I-um was wondering if you could-you know- come over and help me? Please?" She say in a begging tone.

"Yea- um sure. I'll be there in like an hour."

"Thank you so much. And Solange, I'm sor-"

"Listen it's ok, you don't even have to apologize. I was wrong and you were completely right."

"No, Solange. You needed your sister and I was too caught up in my own feelings, I didn't realize that and I'm sorry."
