Not Again

Robyn's POV:

Seeing Beyonce was really insane. Seeing the person I was in love with all those years ago right in my face. All the feelings I pushed down were coming back.

"How are you? It's been so long. Are these your kids?" I see her shake out of her trance.

"I'm doing good. And yes, these are my kids. Blue Ivy, Rumi, and Sir." As she points them out to me, I notice that they look familiar. I had never met them so I don't know why I'm feeling this way.

After she tells me she was a widow, my heart smiles. I know it's wrong but I'm happy that she's single.

As I'm saying my condolences, my son, Aaron, cuts me off. "Mommy!"

Gabriella comes over following Aaron and whispers in my ear, "We gotta go."

I get Beyonce's number and say my goodbye's, leaving the mall with Gabriella and Aaron.

"Who was that?"

"Huh?"

She repeats herself, "Oh, just an old friend."

She nods and grabs Aaron to put him in his booster seat. She buckles him and gets into the driver's seat. I'm glad she doesn't ask me anymore questions, even though I can tell she wants to ask me more. I just don't want to talk to her about Beyonce.

I just want to forget Beyonce, honestly. I have a beautiful wife and a beautiful child and I'm happy. It's just that- Beyonce was my first everything. She was my first love, how could I forget her?

Gabriella brings me out of my thoughts, rubbing my inner thigh. "You good?"

I look over at her and smile, "Yea." We were at a red light so I take the chance to place a small but passionate kiss on her lips.

"I could drop Aaron with my mom, that way we could have the house to ourselfs." I smile wide, caressing her cheek.

"I love you, so much. Much more that you know. Thank you for everything you have given me."

I look back at Aaron, "I love you too, baby."

"I love you more, Mommy."

"No, I love you more!"

And we continue like that until we get to my mother-in-law's house.

Once we get to her house, we see her standing there. I internally rolled my eyes at her, I never liked her and she never liked me. At first I tried to make her like me, getting her flowers and things like that, but it never worked. Soon I just stopped trying.

Gabriella gets Aaron out of the car and takes him to her mother. I give her a small wave and she returns it with a smile.

Both Aaron and my mother-in-law exit into the house and as soon as they are out of sight, Gabriella practically ran to the car. She jumps into the driver's seat, buckles her seatbelt and places a kiss on my cheek. "She's gonna keep him overnight, I'll pick him up in the morning."
