There Kelly sat, on a plane headed for North Coralina. Sh was staying with her father for the summer, which she had to do every summer since she was 10. Now at 15, she still hated it as much as she is when she was younger.
The reason she hated it so much was because of his new wife, Tracee. It wasn't like she was an evil step mother or anything, she was just too nice.
Kelly never trusted anyone that was too nice. Those were the people that you had watch out for the most. As the plane took off, Kelly tried to think of things she could do so she won't have to be in stuck in the house with her father's new family.
After about five hours, she landed in Onslow County. Even though it's crazy, Kelly wished that her plane crashed. She hated coming here. She didn't see the point. Her father would hardly even be home when she was there. He would always be working.
The only good thing about that is the fact that they didn't talk. They didn't know what to talk about. Kelly doesn't know much about her father and he doesn't know much about her. Even before the divorce.
They just never had a good relationship. When Kelly was younger, all she wanted was her father's love but now, she realized that she didn't need him, at all.
All she needed was herself. As she was grabbing her luggage, she decided not to wait for her father and just got a taxi instead. As she waited for her taxi, she ran into an old friend.
"Kelendria?", When her name was called she rolled her eyes assuming it was her father. She turns in the direction of the voice, she is shocked to see that it was an old friend who called her name. "Kelendria Rowland! It's so good to see you!"
"Aldis?", The last time she had seen him he was shorter than her and his voice was similar to Mariah Carey's. Kelly used to always tease him about that.
Now his voice was deep like her father's and he's taller than her, it was like he was a man now. It was weird.
"Wow, I know it's only been about 2 years but it felt like a lifetime honestly. You look so different. You're 15 now, right?"
"Yep, February-"
"11th. Yea, I remember. How could I forget?"
Kelly smiles as she spots a taxi, "Sorry, I have to go, it was really nice talking to you."
She runs off towards the taxi, not giving him a chance to respond. Even though they were friends, she was not in the mood to talk to him. Ever since he got a girlfriend, he ignored her. He promised he would call her but he never did. And for that, Kelly decided that she wasn't gonna talk to him.
Kelly is knocked out of her thoughts as the taxi stops. She looks around and realized that she made it to her destination.
She paid the driver and gave him a small "Thank you" as he helped her with her bags. She went up to the door and stopped, trying to mentally prepared herself for what might happen.
Turning the knob, she found out it was unlocked and opened the door.
It's been a couple of weeks since she got here and nothing important happened. The occasional awkward conversation between her and Tracee, the quick "Hi" and "Bye" between her and her dad, and of course, Aldis.
He would come over, "To keep Kelly company", in reality he would take her to smoke with him. Kelly didn't mind though, she just wanted to get out the house.
They would be around all these different type of people, which made Kelly nervous. She wasn't good around people. But Aldis took notice of that and he would take her somewhere more quiet, for the two of them.
It wasn't a big deal, they were just friends but Aldis' girlfriend didn't see it that way. She thought that something was going on between the two of them.
She soon broke up with Aldis after they got into an argument about that.
Kelly and Aldis went smoking like they normally do but this time it was different. The vibe was different. He was much closer to Kelly than he usually would be. Kelly didn't notice it though. Not until he grabbed her chin to make her face him.
They started into each other's eyes for a while then Aldis leaned in. Kelly met him halfway and it was magical. For Kelly, it was at least. It was Kelly's first kiss. Even though it wasn't what she expected would happen, she was still content with it.
Kelly didn't know how but she ended up on Aldis' lap, grinding on him.
That was Kelly's first time. She didn't regret it at all. She loved Aldis and he loved her.
Well that's what she thought. Kelly thought she was his girlfriend but when he popped up with the girl from down the street, she realized she wasn't. She didn't understand. You can't just have sex with someone and go on and date someone else.
Even though Aldis had a girlfriend, he talked Kelly into still having a sexual relationship with him.
And it was like this for their entire marriage. He even talked his with into making Kelly one of the bridesmaids.
She hated the amount of control he had over her but how could she leave him. He was her first, her only. She was attached to him in the craziest ways.
Finally done!!!
Does this explain why Kelly is still with Aldis?
Who should Aldis' wife be?
I changed the character to Aldis
Hope y'all aren't confused!!
Also if you're on the East Coast, stay safe, wear your mask!!!
Even if the sky isn't as bad as it was yesterday, the air quality is still bad
