Vanessa's POV

Laura and I are just laying on the pool side watching the boys do flips into the pool.

Laura: it's cute how they are in a band too

She's so crushing on Ross is all I could think from the way she said that.

Vanessa: Riker is really cute.

Laura: For a boy his age yes.

Me and Laura giggle like school girls, when I feel a presence.

Rydel: Hi

Laura: Hey hey

Vanessa: hey

Rydel: can I hang out with you?

Laura: definitely, here sit.

Rydel: so you've met my brothers.

Vanessa: yea, they are cool.

Rydel: yea, they are my best friends specially Riker.

Laura: so how's your trip so far?

Rydel: horrible

Vanessa: what's happened? , you don't have to tell us though.

Rydel: my best friend Ellington aka Ratliff we kissed.

Laura: do you like him?

Rydel: more then you could ever think.

Vanessa: how about you sleepover in our cabin tonight?

Laura: Sleepover

Rydel: I would love that.

Vanessa: well we better go and wash up, meet us in 2 hours.

Laura: so 6:00 pm.

Rydel: sure awesome.

Laura: we're cabin 108.

Rydel: okay see you later.

As Laura and I walk back to our cabin all I could think was should I tell them what happened at the top of the waterslide between me and Riker, I can feel my face burning up.

Rydel POV

I stand up to go talk to the boys when I turn around after throwing my shades on, I bang into someone making me go straight to the ground.

Rydel: ouch.

Person: oh my gosh, I'm so sorry Rydel here lets me help you.

I know that voice from anywhere and the feel of his hand on mine too.

Rydel: um don't worry, it's just a scratch.

Ratliff: okay good.

As he was about to speak again, I so hope he wasn't their the whole time.

Riker: what's going on?

Rydel: I just tripped over my own feet and Ellington just helped me up.

Ross: hey, where did Laura go?

Riker: and Vanessa

Rydel: they went to get ready for the sleepover.

Riker & Ross: Sleepover?

Rydel: I MADE FRIENDS

Ratliff: well good for you Rydel

Ross: did you have to make friends with the girls we like?

Rydel: would you rather have me hate them?

Ross & Riker: No

Ellington POV (Short)

Im laying on my bed in my cabin, just thinking, "why did I have to screw up?" "I'm an idiot" "I really like her".

Just when I touched her hand earlier I felt something, something Kelly never gave me, SHOOT IM IN LOVE WITH MY BEST FRIEND.

Maybe I should do something while we are on the cruise, that could be romantic, Wait I would have to ask Mark, Stormie and the scariest Riker.

Riker will not be cool with that, but she probably doesn't even like me, just thinks of me as a friend or worse a brother, then I'm so far in the friend zone.

Rydel POV

I have about half hour to kill before I go to the girls cabin and all I can non stop think about is Ellington, what's wrong with me?

I really like him, but I'm probably so far in the friend zone, I should grab a beer and chest bump with him, but he's just so confusing and I can't read him like I can read Rocky or Ryland.

Rydellingtons is a # right?
Wow I'm stupid, but I'm so caught up in my thoughts, time flew by, I'm need to head to Laura and Vanessa's cabin.
