Rydel POV

I woke up but I wasn't in my bed, I go to sit up but immediately fall back, I look down to me Ellington snuggled in to me, he has his head in my stomach and arm over my legs.

I can see him peacefully sleeping and what can a little more sleep do it won't hurt, I close my eyes going back to sleep, when a little voice speaks up.

Ratliff: please don't go back to sleep

He says in his sexy morning voice, I smile and watch him sit up.

Ratliff: how did you sleep?

Rydel: like a baby.

Ratliff: would have been better with a goodnight kiss.

Rydel: how about morning kiss?

Ratliff: that can do it.

We start leaning in and I can feel his breath, when a knock on the door called it all off.

Riker: hey dude can we talk?

Ratliff: 2 seconds.

Rydel: I'll be in the bathroom.

And I run in shutting the door, I slide my back down it and bite my lip just thinking about what almost just happened.

I press my ear up against the door to hear what they are talking about.

Riker: do you know where Rydel is?

Ratliff: no idea dude.

Riker: what happened the other night?

Ratliff: what do you mean?

Riker: the way you just dropped everything and helped Rydel.

Ratliff: well you guys just stood there in shock so I took matters into my own hands.

Riker: well thanks, I'm going to go look for Rydel.

Ratliff: okay, see ya.

I heard a door shut, I waited for my cue that I could come out.

Ratliff: Your good.

I walk back and walk straight to the door.

Ratliff: where are you going?

Rydel: Riker wants to talk to me.

Ratliff: you heard everything?

Rydel: of course I did, these walls aren't sound proof.

He chuckled and I let out down the hall, I saw Riker and quickly ran up behind him.

Riker: Rydel

And he pulls me into a nice bone crushing hug.

Rydel: I heard you were looking for me

Riker: yea, is their anything between you and Ellington?

Rydel: That's Crazy, he's my best friend that's it.

Riker: oh okay

His smile quickly drops and it looks like he's going to cry.

Rydel: hey your not just my big brother, your also my best friend before anyone.

Riker: okay

And his smile returns with another bone crushing hug.

Laura POV

Vanessa: If you don't talk to him then Riker won't talk to me.

Laura: no!

Vanessa: Laura!

She whined pulling it out.

Laura: VANESSA NO, I DONT WANT ANYTHING TO DO WITH HIM.

Vanessa: well you can't avoid him forever.

Laura: Yes I can

Vanessa: like to see you try, just talk to him.

Laura: fine, but I am so close to slapping you too.

I walk out to the pool, cause I already know he's going to be there.

Laura: hey.

And I place myself down next to him also now dangling my feet into the pool.

Ross: Hi

Laura: why so harsh?

Ross: you slapped me.

Laura: you deserved it

Ross: you know what, go away.

Laura: excuse you?

Ross: leave me alone forever, i sick of you, I spent hours planning a perfect date and you slapped me.

Laura: you were horrible to me that night.

Ross: I don't have my fu**ing b!tches who don't appreciate me, I can tweet one thing and have a date with any girl I want.

I can feel tears coming I stand up and run away, I run down the hall all the way to my parents cabin, I bang on the door till my mom answers.

Laura: the boat stops in 2 days, I'm getting off the boat and staying with Raini.

Ellen: why?

Laura: no important but I love you.

Ellen: I love you too

I walk away wiping the tears from my cheeks.

I walk into my cabin locking the door, I start chucking everything into my bag.

I pull out my phone and text Trish.

Laura: Hey, Are you at your place?

Raini: yea, stuck here all break.

Laura: can I come over in like 2 days?

Raini: yea, totally.

Laura: Awesome see ya thenn.

Raini: okay see ya Laur.

I lay back on my bed throwing my phone across the room, then placing my hands to my face.
