Chapter 4

'Come to us...'
'no!'
'We need you...'
'No you just want me for my power'
'Ha! You think we need your power? We have our own and it's much, much more powerful. You, my dear are just an anchor we need to get into that world, get to those dwarves and that wizard.'
'What wizard?'
'The one who wears all grey and carries a staff, you will see him soon. We need you to learn from him, he knows of a book that is in the mountain.'
'What? I cannot steal something from the dwarves! Thorin would kill me, even if I cannot die he will find a way!'
'Yeah we don't care'
'I will not!'
'You will!'

I feel a push against my mental shield and groan, I keep up my shield and push against them. I feel a sharp pain in my head and I let out a gasp.

'Get out of my head!'
'Just let us in'
'No!'
'Let. Us. In!'
'NO!'
'Y/n... Come on now my dear...'
'No you cannot fool me! You are not my mother!'
'My dear, trust me, let me in...'

I sigh, the voice is so soothing that I didn't even realize I let down my guard down. I feel a quick and sharp pain in at the front of my head and I yell out in pain. They keep pushing and soon they push their way fulling in my head and send me into an imagine of a different world I believe or at least a different place. It's very green and bright, I look around a bit and I see a shadow. I step forward and see the shadow look familiar, I just don't know who or what it is. The shadow starts turning which makes me take multiple steps away, once it turns and I can get a good look at it I see it's face is deformed. The shadows eyes are red and it's really tall, it starts walking over to me, it's walk is so creepy.

'Y/n~'

That voice!

'Oh Y/n I can finally see you'
I freeze and look at the Shadow once again, 'Who are you?'
'Wouldn't you like to know'
'Please tell me who you are'

The shadow walks over to me and comes up to my face, I get a better glimpse of it and it looks like it's face was burned and it's hair is made of shadows or ashes. The shadow takes a good look at me and then tries to touch my hair, I back away and it chuckles

'You are just as beautiful as I imagined'

I wrinkle my nose and start backing away from the shadow, it stalks closer to me. I turn around and start running, I see a house in the distance so I keep running. I hear the shadow behind me moving branches out of its way and stomping on the ground.

'Come here!' it bellows

I keep running ignoring it, it sounds like it keeps getting closer so I just focus on running.

'You think you can run from me?!' it exclaims

The branches stop moving and twigs stop snapping, I take a quick glance behind me and I don't see the shadow. I turn back around and continue to run, I still sense it's presence I just can't see it. Next thing I know I get tackles, I let out a ear piercing scream and punch the shadow.

I feel myself behind shaken and someone is whispering to me.

'Y/n wake up it's just a dream!'

But it's not

'Y/n Please!'

Oh Fili

'Y/n! wake up!'
'Y/n!
'Y/N!'

"Y/N!" Fili yells one last time shaking me again
I gasp and open my eyes, I look around and see Fili, Oin, Bard and Sigrid all around me. I cover my face and let out a cry, Fili is quick to hug me and tell me it's okay. Oin rubs my back,
