Darling || Fili x Reader

Chapter 5

I rush back inside and close the door I look at the dwarves, "What the hell was that?!"
They look at eachother and smile nervously, "Erm that would be the dragon lass"
"Dragon?" I ask in shock
They nod and I feel a little faint, "No one said anything about a dragon!"
Fili comes over to me and I shake my head, "No, I need to go for a walk"
Fili reaches for me as I walk away from him, I walk down and away from Bards house.

A bloody dragon?!
Why was I not warned about this?!

I sigh and sit down on one of the docks looking at the water, I hear a loud roar and I jump up. I look around and see that there's a big ass dragon flying towards the town. I run back in the house,

"There is a bloody dragon heading towards us right now!" I exclaim
Oin grabs my hand, "We stay in here unless this place starts on fire"
I look at him in shock, "Why not help the people?!"
Oin shrugs, "They are not my people"
"You guys weren't my people but I helped you!" I look at the four dwarves, "Bard and his children helped you and you can't even do the simple task of trying to help their people?"

Fili and Kili look down and Bofur looks around at anything but me. Oin shakes his head and I scoff, I turn around and head to the door.

"Sigrid stay here and keep those dwarves here I'll be back" I say

Sigrid nods and I rush out of the house, I see a bunch of the buildings at on fire. I run around trying to find people who are still alive, whenever I find a person I tell them to go near the boats or by the dock at Bards house. I look up and see that the dragon is circling around a watchtower, I look closely and see Bard and his son with a human sized bow. I use my power and push myself into the dragons mind

'You are a very powerful dragon' I say in its head
'What? Who are you? What is the meaning of this?' I hear a roaring voice respond

I ignore the dragon as bard takes his shot and strikes down the dragon, I cheer and run to where Bard and his son are. I look at them and smile

"Good job guys!" I exclaim hugging them
They hug me back and we make our way back to Bards home.
"We need to get all these people to the city of dale" Bard says, "It's near the mountain"
I nod and I then see the dwarves getting in a boat, I sigh as they look over to me. Fili wave me over, I walk over and look at them.
"Come with us" Fili says
I smile, "I would love to but I can't I need to help these people"
"They have Bard" Fili says nodding over at Bard

I look over at Bard and he nods telling me I should go, I look back over and nod at the dwarves. Fili grins and helps me into the boat, I sit down next to Fili and lay my head on his shoulder.

"You ready to see our home?" Kili asks grinning
I smile and nod, "Of course"

He laughs and I watch and listen as the dwarves mess around and laugh with each other, they are such a happy little family and it makes me so happy. Fili hugs and I hug him back, after I think maybe an hour or so we make it to land. We get out of the boat and then make our way too the mountain. Fili holds my hand the whole way to the mountain and when we get there him and Kili show me around a bit before Bilbo comes up to us.

"Thorin wants to see Fili and Kili" He says
Fili and Kili were about to say something but I smile and nod, "Okay they will be on their way. Do you want to go on a walk my friend?"
Bilbo nods and then I give Fili a quick peck on the check and then start walking with Bilbo. Once we are away from the group Bilbo stops me, I look at him confused and see that he has a look of fear.
"Bilbo what's wrong?" I ask giving him a hug, "Did something happen?"
"It's Thorin. I'm scared for him, he's not himself." Bilbo says as we pull out of the hug
I frown, "What do you mean?"
He sighs, "It's this place, there's also a stone or gem or whatever that he's looking for and he almost left me with the dragon because I didn't find it"
"No way your lying" I look at him in shock
He shakes his head, "Go see for yourself"
I sigh, "I'm sorry Bilbo"
Bilbo shrugs, "I'm just scared for him"
I nod, "I bet"
I look around, "I think I'm going to go talk to Fili and tell him I'm going to Dale"
Bilbo nods, "Okay"
