Ennead || Unseen

First End I

The hill isn't much comfortable but you lay on it anyway, your hair long enough that it reaches the end of the hill and into the waters around you. It feels weird, almost like you can feel the water through your hair, as if it was a part of it. You're jostled out of your thoughts however as two warm hands encircle your shoulders.

"Mmm, my darling Nu. I love the body you've stuck with but..."

One of the hands slowly trails down your bare skin, down your navel and to your crotch. You shudder for a second, taking in a deep breath but otherwise do not react as she pouts.

"I wish you picked something here. I wouldn't even mind if you chose the same parts as me. I'd... prefer it in fact~" She purred, black curls tickling your shoulders.

You just snort and halfheartedly push at her face.

"Is that all I am to you? A body?"

"No" She sighs and pulls her hand back up, tenderly pulling a few strands out of your face. "Your mind is so vast, like you've lived millions of lives already. And your soul..."

She stretches down, both hands on your chest as she rests her chin on your head.

"Your soul is so beautiful. Like it was made to complete mine. Please, show me it." She whispers to you, her hands massaging into your skin as if trying to literally coax your soul out. You can't help but release some tension and lay even more back, as if to sleep.

"I cant show you my soul, Ra."

"...then show me something else."

You huff. So demanding. But you pause and think for a moment. An old melody comes to mind and you begin to hum it aloud. You don't know why but you slowly sit up as the lyrics come back to your mind.

"Remember... how we drifted in midnight's ocean, How we danced under moonlight's caress, you call for me"  You turn around and lean towards her. "In your silent pleas..."

You don't register what you're doing as you move through, your hands gripping her forearms, "Fate has bound us two together," you slide them until your holding both her hands "so dance with me for eternity-"

Her eyes widen, her smile dropped into a frown. "Yet you tentatively step towards him, time to stop this make believe..."

Your hair raises, curls and waves flailing into a halo, slowly entrapping her limbs in its web like a spider, like a snake. Your smile is sharp as you open your mouth, harshly resting your forehead against hers, as if to devour her.

"The shadows crawl in closer
Night has fallen, morning sunlight falters
Soon you'll drown in endless darkness
Come with me, and you'll be free
As you've wished in your haunted dreams~"

You end the song, panting as you belted the last note. You stare at each other... you feel weird. Excited. The sun god is staring at you, for once not smiling, for once with an emotion you've never really seen before on her....

Fear

Holding her hands like this... with her looking at you like that... electricity dances up your back, the muscles of your stomach constricting, a warmth developing in your deepest parts... what is this?

Thankfully that melts off her face into a wild smile, before you could get addicted to it.

"My my, you're so... wild~" she giggles before wrenching your hands, making you cry in pain as she flips you over, her hair tangling in yours as she laughs and pins you down to the cold muddy mound of your birth.
