You cough, and cough.

A warm, too warm hand takes your chin in hold, lifting up your gaze.

Golden eyes meets yours, above a glimmering smile.

"Second born, my lesser vessel. My mirror."

Tears of light roll down your face, the first of it's kind.

"Please... don't look at me."

You tear your head away from the hand, from the warmth, more of those drops rolling down your face and disappearing into the nothingness holding the two of you up.

"I...I cannot be known. I must not. I do not belong, I don't BELONG HERE!"

You cry out, gripping your face in agony.

The god above you just watches. You don't care to determine the emotion behind that smile.

"Of course you do. You pulled yourself from nothing, like me. What are you to be called, unknown?"

You grimace, moving to grip your hair.

"I don't know, I don't think I should tell you. I feel... I feel you will use it against me if I told you my true name."

You confess to the god... you know who this is. You know what will happen. Why did this have to happen to you?

"... then give me a name that is not true. I have already given myself name."

You look up to the god before you... The comic lead you to believe she was always a woman but the being before you is neither... You wrack your brain for a reasonable name, one not mentioned... you almost giggle, one that's closely tied to the god itself.

"...Nu. You may call me Nu in this form..."

You mutter to them. They smile wider.

"Then Nu, Join me! Let us join together in body and create matter past your rivers of nothing!" They declare, shining brilliantly. You blink.... And then blink again.

"...join together?" You grip your thigh, hoping they're not talking about that...

They visibly change, enhancing their masculine features. Your face starts to heat up as you try your hardest not to look down. He chuckles, clearly amused with you already.

"Do you not want to create with me? We can take on the form of anything we want, my dear Nu. I've chosen this form to father the world with you."

Yeaaaaah no, that's not what's supposed to happen. Ra was supposed to birth the gods herself... You grab his hands.

"Sun God Ra, I cannot... create. That is not my purpose. But that is yours. Go and begin the world."

You beg him. Slowly, he shifts back into the androgynous state, that ever present grin still on his face.

"For the unknown one, you sure know a lot. Like the name I've called myself, despite me declaring it before you were born."

You gulp, looking away.

"U-um, well... I guess my purpose... is to keep secrets. To live in shadows and not be, uh, involved..."

Utter bullshit. They seem to take it well though, laughing boisterously.

"Alright, my secret keeper. Then I shall bless you."

They lean forward and kiss your forehead. You freeze, unsure of what the hell they're doing.

"My blessing to you, my opposite, is for you to be unseen unless in my light."

You relax under their affection, relieved that it's actually something that will benefit you.

They pull back to reveal their feminine self, the familiar mother of gods you've seen in the manwha. She extends her hand out to you.

"Come now, my dear Nu, walk with me. Surely, there's something you can tell me."

You wipe your face once more and stand up, accepting her hand.

"...But can you keep a secret, Ra?"

She laughs once more.

"You can curse me to never tell a soul your secret."

"Sure but... I trust you."

You don't but... Ra was always a secretive one.

"...well, I'll just tell you this for now. I've never had pure white hair like this..."
