Gravity

The last time you'll be seeing them. This will be the last time.... It's all that echoes in your head as Osiris puts his hand on your chest. Vines crawls beneath your skin and around your shoulders but it doesn't hurt, he does it gently.

When it's done, your chest aches. Like your heart and your lungs are opposing each other. You look up at Osiris before hugging him. He's so much bigger and taller now that he's a god. You're jealous, he's ripped.

Quickly though, someone pounces onto your back and throws a garland over your neck.

"Cousin!!! I'm going to miss you so much! I'm sorry this happened to you!" Nephthys cried, also choking you with a stronger grip than you thought she had.

"N-no worries Neph-"

"Nephthys, you're going to crush his spine." Isis chided. Nephthys loosened her grip but kept held tight onto you. Isis just sighed and hugged all three of you.

"We'll miss you little cousin. I hope you'll still be able to participate in our ceremonies somehow." She said, putting her chin on your head.

"Thanks Isis. I love you guys so much..." You then turn to Seth, stubbornly sulking away from you four.

"Seth! Get your ass here and join in before I go over there and beat it"

He flipped the bird at you.

"Hell no, I'm still mad you just let all that happen!"

"Seth, you're not gonna see me for four years. You're gonna regret it!"

Again he just shook his head.

Isis sighed before turning to her brother. "Osiris?"

A vine wrapped around Seth and yanked him towards the four of you. You opened up your arms and caught him between you and Osiris.

"There! Now we're all huddled together" you purr and nuzzle your head into his.

He swears but he doesn't struggle, seemingly trying to keep up the appearance that he's pissed... yet his arms wrap around your waist and pulls you closer, stomach to stomach.

The five you just hug for a moment... until Ma'at walks up to you.

"Do not worry, Khonsu will come to all your ceremonies. However, he still cannot be seen by you. Come along now, Khonsu. You have a long day ahead."

You let go of them and slowly pull yourself away.

Turning around, you give them the biggest smile you can.

"Love you guys."

And then you walk away towards your new life for four years.

Once both you and Ma'at are out of the room, Isis turns to Osiris.

"Brother... why did you do that?? Insulting grandmother and grandfather!? It wasn't part of the plan. You might have just killed us all."

He shook his head. "No sister, I saved us."

As you declared your guilt to all of Heliopolis, Osiris and Ra were having a staredown.

Ra will be too busy doting on her favorite child to notice her kingdom crumbling underneath her.

"Darling, don't worry, we'll show you the ropes." Ra promised you as you stood on the mountain. The ark will be rising soon and this is the best way for you to get on apparently.

"Shu and Tefnut are experts at this. They'll keep you safe as well." She said, gesturing to them. You raise your head to look at them. Shu smiles and pats your head.
