"Khonsu, are you awake?"

Slowly, Thoth opened the door to... You already awake and running around in a circle. He snickers.

"Oh you rascal, you're going to tire yourself out before you see your c-"

"Siblings!!! I'm gonna see my siblings~!"

You try to run past him, ducking under his lanky body but he quickly snatches you up.

"Now hold on. We need to get you ready."

You whine but let him carry you to another room to get ready. He combs your unruly hair before braiding it and putting it into a sidelock. You refused to shave the rest of your head again, the rest of it a fluffy short mess from growing it out. Like a chick.

"I am a chick."

Thoth just chuckled as he ran his hand through your soft fluff.

"Yes, you're a baby bird."

"But I wanna be a big bird! I wanna wear a headdress like aunty Sekhmet! I want the beautiful jewelry of aunty Hathor!  I want raging muscles like daddy Geb! I want beautiful flowing hair like mommy Nut~, oh and mama Ra! I want the boobs of Ra-"

"-WELL, you still have yet to leave the nest... and become a full fledged god. You're still a demigod right now, my little chick."

He pats your head for comfort before taking off your little scholarly robes. You like to look at yourself in the mirror while he grabs a loincloth for you.

Yes yes, a big chest will fit you well. You can't wait to be grown up, you will be the most ripped scholar ever. You bet that he will finally stop...

Your frown turns back into a smile as Thoth comes back and wraps the cloth around your waist. He adds a hardy usekh to your neck, one tested to be Khonsu proof. Finally, a necklace with the symbol of Nu on it.

"There. Let's go down then, shall we?"

You go up and down on your tippy toes in excitement, nodding furiously. He bends down and transforms into a beautiful, huge ibis. You climb on, careful of his wings.

He flies off and you hold onto the crux of his wings, enjoying as you enter earth's atmosphere. You breathe in deeply as you meet Shu and Tefnut's moist air, the breath keeping you alive in space dissipating so you can breathe the fresh climate.

He soon lands and lets you slide off of him before transforming back into a humanoid. This is it, the temple of Nut. You hurriedly run inside, your brother trailing behind you at a more leisurely pace.

"Brothers, sisters, I'm home!!!" You call out, whipping your head around in search of them.

"Ugh, you're so loud!"

You turn and gasp to see Isis! You run over and tackle her.

"Big sister!!!"

"Hey, get off of me! I'm trying to study and you're making all this racket, like usual."

You pull away.

"S-sorry, it's just that I- it's been so long since I've seen you!"

She rolls her eyes and points to the door next to the one she came out of.

"Go annoy Nephthys. And be quiet!"

You nod and bow before running over to Nephthys's room. You slam open the door.
