Exhausted from filming all night, she barely had time to go home and grab her suitcase before going to the private jet hangar where she met up with other cast members who were all equally tired. Tim waited for her to board the plane together.
Stepping onto the jet, they saw that the only two seats available were on opposite sides of the cabin. She looked at Tim before moving to take the further seat. Barely one step away from him, he gripped her waist, and she flashed him a look of confusion. He sunk into the plush leather chair and tilted his head. Leaning down, she said quietly, "It's a 3 hour flight."
"I don't care."
"Your legs will fall asleep."
He pulled her into his lap, and she let out a tiny yelp. "I don't care."
"The flight attendant might tell me I need to take my own se-"
Her objection was cut off by a kiss that made her feel warm all over. "I hate you," she whispered against his lips.
"No you don't," he responded with a smug smile.
"You know, I can just change seats, and one of you can sit here," Aaron offered, interrupting them.
Lucy remembered that they were with their cast mates and felt a little embarrassed.
"We're good. Thanks, Thorsen," Tim answered for them and turned back to the woman in his arms, because why pass up on an opportunity to hold Lucy?
"I really do need to sleep," she reminded him.
"Didn't you say you had the best nap ever the other day in your trailer?" He recalled.
"Maybe."
"Okay, so let's get some rest." He rested his chin on the top of her head and held her close in a way he knew he wouldn't let go in sleep. He could feel her heartbeat against him and her arm draped over his shoulder.
The plane landed, and Lucy was still sleeping deeply. Gently waking her didn't work aside from her burrowing deeper into him with an adorable grunt. With a sigh, he lifted her up and carried her out of the plane like a groom carrying a bride over the threshold- one hand across her back and the other under her knees. She barely seemed to move when he slid them into a car where she was back on his lap. He truly didn't mind, though. He loved having her close.
Driving over a pothole, the car jolted, which woke Lucy up.
"What happened?" She sounded dazed.
"Good morning, Sleeping Beauty. We're in Canada now, and we're almost at the hotel," he explained kindly and put a hand up to her cheek.
"I don't remember getting off the plane."
"Because I carried you off the plane."
"Seriously?" Her eyes grew wide.
"I wasn't gonna leave you there, and you weren't waking up. Besides, you were the one that told me if you're tired, I should just pick you up," he reminded her of their conversation when they had last walked Kojo.
"Sorry, I never have trouble waking up."
"Not a big deal."
"Wait, so like you seriously carried me?"
"Yup."
"How? Like firefighter style?"
"I didn't throw you over my shoulder," he scoffed. The car came to a stop in front of the hotel, and Tim drew her close once more. "I'll show you." He brought them out of the car with
her still in his arms, and she gripped him tightly to prevent falling, even though she knew he wouldn't drop her.
