"Tim, will you marry me?" Lucy asked.

"What?" Tim blinked hard; did she truly propose to him, or had he been hit on the head harder than he originally thought?

"I want us to stay together forever just like the boat says," she furrowed her brow. Surely, he wasn't having second thoughts?

"Together forever," he repeated as he processed his shock, because she really did ask him to marry her.

"We've talked about getting married before, and when we get married, no one will get between us with some stupid fake relationship publicity stunt ever again."

Amidst the surprise and joy, he laughed as something occurred to him, "You do realize that when we get married, we'll sign a marriage license, so we're signing ANOTHER relationship contract?"

"I hadn't thought of it like that, but that's what I want," Lucy nodded confidently.

"Me, too," he replied fondly.

She smiled nervously and asked, "So, is that a yes?"

"Yes, of course, YES," he beamed.

There was a single moment where she let the acceptance of her proposal set in before she reached up to pull his face down towards her for a kiss. Right about now, she considered doing more than kissing, but they were in a CHURCH, so she kept it very PG; besides, their sopping wet clothes would have been quite difficult to peel away from their bodies.

For several minutes, they held each other grinning happily until Tim asked, "Do you hear that?"

"I don't hear anything."

"Exactly. I think the storm finally let up. We should get back."

Lucy agreed easily, since she wanted to dry off and also get Tim's head properly examined.

••••••••••

Clean and dry, Lucy stood outside the bedroom door while Tim was being examined by an on call doctor in their bed. Looking around the living room area, she started to feel overcome with emotions- they were ENGAGED! That made the sight in front of her mean more. Both Tim and Lucy collectively packed most of the framed memories from their home, unbeknownst to the other, and it resulted in every surface being filled with frames of moments they shared from their past, and now they had a clear future TOGETHER.

Even though Tim assumed (aggravatingly) that Lucy had given up on them, he still brought at least 15 pictures to keep him company in his suite, and she, feeling similarly, did the same resulting in "Chenford's greatest moments" as she referred to the museum installation that took over their shared suite. As they set out the frames the day before, Tim told her he never packed much when he went on location to film, but Lucy had changed his perspective, and he wanted to bring as much of her with him wherever he went; he even had a printed picture of them tucked in the visor of his truck.

Looking at how far they've come and imagining what would come to be was interrupted by the doctor's diagnosis that Tim had suffered a minor concussion and needed to rest.

Before she even thanked the doctor and tried her best not to butcher "goodbye" in Greek, she heard Tim whining: "Baby, come to bed."

She rolled her eyes at him fondly and took her sweet time to shuffle over to him.

Lucy was taking far too long to join him, so he added with a pout, "I almost died today. The least you could do is hold me."

The adrenaline of being resuscitated, worrying for their safety, and getting engaged had worn off, and he was suffering from serious lightheadedness and drowsiness; Tim wasn't sure he would be able to keep his eyes open for much longer, but he wanted to fall asleep with her holding him. Lucy FINALLY obliged and pulled Tim's back to her chest and wrapped her short arms around him as best as possible. "I'm here, honey."
