PJO/ HOO Truth or Dare!

1st Round

Once we get to "Cabin 3", I get kind of scared... The concept of this game seems pretty easy, but as a goddess, we take pride in ourselves and have lots of secrets.

As if sensing my nervousness, Leo smiles at me and squeezes my hand reassuringly.

"Okay! I guess I'll ask first!" Percy says. He scans the room, searching for his victim. "Leo." I nod thankfully and Percy smiles. That same kind smile I remember from years ago... I'm glad he found Annabeth, and I can't see why or how I was ever mad at him.

"Truth or Dare?" He asks. "Dare!" Leo shouts, a mischievous glint in his eyes and a wide grin spread across his face.

Percy returns that same expression, and I know that I wanted to stay away from him giving me a dare. "I dare you to light the tip of a nymph's tree on fire." Leo's face goes pale.

"This is the day I die..." We all burst into laughter. "GUYS SERIOUSLY!!! WHAT IF SHE DIES!" "Chill! I have water powers remember!?" Percy says. That still kinda surprises me. I didn't know that Percy was so powerful up until a few days ago.

We follow Leo into the forest, and he gulps. Slowly, he lights the tip of a branch on fire. Before he could even be worried, the tree transformed into a nymph and slapped Leo straight across the face!

"WHY DON'T YOU GO BACK TO WHERE YOU BELONG AND LIGHT SOME OTHER POOR CREATURE ON FIRE!" Percy quickly apologizes and douses the fire. We run out of the forest laughing.

"Hey!" I hear from behind a tree. A boy steps out of the shadows... Quite literally. "Nico!" Percy says. I back away timidly.

"What?" He grumbles. "We are playing Truth or Dare! Do you want to come with us?" Nico smiles grimly.

"Why not? I like to watch people make fools of themselves." What a nice ray of sunshine...

Together, we walk back to Cabin 3 to continue our games.
