Twice: When They Cry - Jealousy

A/N: Hey! If you read the previous chapters, I'm sure you'd recognise this title :D Here's the next arc of the When They Cry chapter that I published previously. It is based on the anime Higurashi: When They Cry.

I wasn't going to make another chapter for this but I kinda enjoyed making the previous one 🤣

You're probably wondering how I'm suppose to continue the story when the characters are dead. Well, as I said at the end summary of the previous chapter, the characters are in a loop and everytime they die, another "reality/universe" opens up and the characters are alive again with no memory of their past life. 

This chapter will be in Y/N perspective again and all the characters are exactly the same. It will also be much, much more brutal than the previous one. Though it gets worse in the answer arc so I hope you're prepared.

(IMPORTANT: Additional characters will be included! Also, I'm sorry but Dahyun will not be mentioned in this story 😭 I wanted to add her but this arc doesn't include her character)

*The Year 1983*

9:38am

"Shit! I'm late!", Y/N sprung up out of bed.

"Oh wait... Today's Sunday"

Y/N flopped back into bed and fell asleep again.

"Y/N! You have a call from Jihyo!"

"Alright..."

"Y/N! You're late!"

Jihyo and Nayeon were waiting with their bikes.

"Sorry, sorry. Hey, where's Jeongyeon and Chaeyoung?"

"It'll be faster if we meet up with them in town", said Nayeon.

"I see. By the way, why are we having a club meeting in town?"

"You'll see when you get there", Nayeon smirked before riding off.

"Ah Nayeon, wait!"

The three rode their bikes down the road all the way to town. When they arrived, there were a bunch of kids waiting outside of the toy store.

"Is this where we're meeting?", asked Y/N.

"Yeah!"

"Why are there so many kids? Is there an event happening or something?"

"That's right! The grand prize is five hundred thousand won!", said Nayeon.

"F-FIVE HUNDRED THOUSAND WON?!!"

Jeongyeon and Chaeyoung were inside of the toy store already. They turned around after hearing Y/N's voice.

"We're in here already!", Jeongyeon called out.

"Alright! Let's go!"

Game Tournament

"So this is the site for our club meeting, huh?", said Y/N.

"I'm good friends with the owner of this store. He sometimes lets us hold tournaments to attract customers", said Nayeon.

"We have a lot for today's meeting", said Jihyo.

"The winner is free to do what they want to the losers!"
