Day Thirteen

(MAJOR TIME SKIP for convenience <3)

*GUNSHOT NOISES FROM AFAR*

"They're on the move, Yeonjun," I told him, holding up my sniper. "Should I get into position?"

"No, wait for Soobin's signal."

It has been 20 minutes since we were waiting for the signal. Soobin should have given it 10 minutes ago. "What's taking him so long?"

"You know that cocky bastard, he thinks he can take them all at once."

"Then why am I here?"

"Noona, you're our guardian today aren't you?"

Five days ago, after going home to Korea, Chan gave me a month's worth of assignments. Much is like babysitting their prodigies. Speaking of Chan, he received some karma once we got home the last time we flew out of Korea. He got a bad cold that got him in bed for weeks. Is he finally dying? he he...Fuck.

"Noona, I think we need to move now."

"Finally."

Time skip

The mission went by like a breeze. Mainly when I've already gotten used to it, after every task, I could just sigh. There is still no way of getting out of this.

"Hey, how are you doing?" Felix entered my room holding what seemed to be a frappe that I always ordered.

"Like always, you?"

"I still feel sick after that massacre mission in China. Can't seem to stop thinking of it." He sits beside me on the bed and hands me the drink. "Here, my treat."

"Thanks." I take a sip, and hell, it tastes delicious. But I looked back at him; he was touching his neck and biting his lip.

"YN...can we talk?" He finally spoke with a reluctant look.

"Yeah? What's the matter?"

"If I told you to run away with me...would you do it?"

Is this the chance?

"Run away? From Wolfgang?"

Was he being serious?

Can he even do that?

Can I trust him?

"It's hard to explain things to you here but the way things are now are not what it seems."

I don't get it. Am I stupid? What was he talking about? Was there something I missed?

"Felix... are you...a-"
"Alright!" The door banged open and Chan marches in holding a gun. "I've heard enough."

Felix stood in front of me, in a protective stance. I had already placed down the drink and held my gun.

"Hyung, I can explain."
"Oh, I bet you can, in the basement."

No.

"No!" I pulled Felix back and aimed my gun at Chan. "Please, don't! I'll do whatever you say just please!"

"I've had enough of your games." Chan was furious, his veins were visible from his forehead. "You think you can fool me forever! I AM NOT A FOOL!"

He shot the gun at Felix, he hit his arm.
"FELIX!"

This was all happening so fast.

Did he find out? How?! We were so sure no one would know of our plans. Just how?!

"Hyung! Believe me, I would never betray you! I took an oath remember?"

"Yeah, you all did. But you're too good at lying Felix. You're too good. That's why I'm so shocked that you were able to fool me and make me feel like an idiot."

There is no way he won't shoot him. I have to do something.

"CHAN!" I yelled and shot him.

I quickly push Felix, grabbed his hand, and started running. We ran for our lives.

Running down long stairs and halls. There were too many corners that needed to be turned but we were almost out. We were so close to being free.

"I knew there was something up. Never trusted you." Hyunjin stood before the gates.

"Please, Hyunjin. Let us go." Felix begged, holding his bloody arm. Hyunjin stared at it and sighed.

"I can't believe you would do things like this. I hate you, both of you." He glared at us but walked away. "Get lost and don't dare come back."

I thought he was going to kill us. But no, he saved us. He let us go and we took a car from the parking lot outside. It was a car we had ready, a part of our big plan.
