He was right. The food was amazing, with or without spit. I ate every bite and so did he. We didn't have any more incidents with Charlene.

We mostly talked about school and our degrees. He was getting a degree in finance but took extra classes that interested him. I also learned he had a brother that was at our school studying economics.

I found myself opening up about my family. I told him my father died when I was fifteen and about Frank's accident. I left out my mother's issues and that Kelsey was my daughter. It was odd because I wasn't usually this open.

Once we finished, we just paid and left. As we got to the car one of the men admiring it came over. We got in and he tapped on the window. When Gideon lowered the window he stuck a gun in his face.

"You two get out of the car and there won't be any trouble," he said, nudging him with the gun.

Gideon turns to me and says, "don't move."

He quickly grabs the man's arm and twists it until we hear the sickening sound of bone breaking and his elbow pop. The gun falls into Gideon's lap before the man can even register what happened. He falls back clutching his arm screaming while Gideon turns on the ignition and drives away.

I'm speechless clutching the door and center console. As nasty as that scene was all I could think is I could use a man like him when I found my prey. His speed and strength would be useful.

"Are you okay?" He asks.

"I'm fine. Are you?" I ask.

"Yeah. I didn't expect a carjacking here but what can you do," he says.

When he stopped at a red light my libido kicked in. I grab his face and kiss him. He seems shocked at first but he kissed me right back. I pull away as the light turns green.

"What was that for?" He asks.

"I don't know. An adrenaline rush I guess," I say.

"So I should take you on roller coasters next time," he jokes.

"Or just start a bar fight next time I go there," I say.

He laughs.

"We should make this a regular thing. The breakfast Mondays, not the carjacking," he says.

"I think I'd like that," I say.

We're back to campus with fifteen minutes to spare. We grab our books and run to class. Turns out we share this one too. He actually sits right behind me in this one.

I kept feeling his eyes on me. It made me squirm in my seat. I turned around to look at him and he smiled. After class he kissed me on my cheek then went to class.

I was walking around with a goofy smile before I caught myself and corrected. What was I doing? I can't date. I have a purpose and time was running out. I didn't want to hang around this place longer than I had to.

Gideon POV

I was headed to my next class when I ran into Gabriel, my twin. It disturbed me how alike we are. Even though our personalities were different, we dressed alike, had similar tastes in women, the same friends, and the same desires.

"So how was breakfast," Gabriel asks.

"It went amazingly well," I say. "We've made plans to make it a regular thing."

"When am I going to meet her," he asks.

"I don't know. We're still getting to know each other," I say. "How are things with you and Rochelle?"
