Abhimanyu somehow relented after a week and let Devansh go to his college but that's it. He loosened his rules but the rules were still there for everyone in the family.

Devansh although happy to breathe some fresh air in his college, his discreet but not so discreet body guards who are blended into the students had him annoyed. The constant feeling of having a battalion watching his every move... He is yet to get comfortable with that. He was startled out his thoughts when one of his friends Rishab nudged him, "You are coming tonight right?"

"Where?" Devansh asked uninterested because his answer isn't going to change anyhow.

"Its my birthday Party Dev. What the hell is wrong with you?" Rishab whacked him annoyed.

"Abey tera birthday toh kal hai!"

"Par party aaj hai Rajasahab!"

"Don't call me that." Devansh hissed, "Main nahi aapaunga. Security compromise hosakti hain. Bhaiyya won't allow me Bro!"

Rishab sighed in resignation. He knew that when Abhimanyu says NO, its a no. "Fine then. I don't want a party!"

"And why is that?"

"Ab mera best friend ke bina party thodi ho sakti hai. Koi baat nahi kal subah tere saath hi manaunga." Rishab's face fell. He never celebrated his birthday without his best friend for as long as he understood what birthday meant.

"Don't be an idiot Rishi. Its just not about me! Your family will want to celebrate your birthday. Zyada naatak mat kar aur chup chap party enjoy kar. Jaise hi situation theek hoga, I'll convince bhaiyya and we'll go on a trip. Sirf Hum. With few security guards maybe jo humein bilkul disturb nahi karenge. Deal?"

Rishab wasn't convinced but Devansh nudged him, "Chal na. Samajh na situation ko." After a few heartfelt attempts, RIshab had to agree but he wasn't as thrilled as he had to be.

Devansh felt guilty but there was nothing he could do. He could try and convince his bhaiyya but he didn't want to give false assurances to Rishab.

ROY HOUSE

Anirudh looked at his little brother and shook his head, "Bhaiyya won't agree Dev. Jaane de. Weekend pe Rishabh ko ghar pe bulale. Yaha party karlo aap sab."

Devansh's face fell, "Lekin aap try toh karsakte ho bhaiyyu." He mumbled sadly and Anirudh's heart melted into a puddle like always.

"Acha theek hain. Baat karunga main bhaiyya se." He took a deep breathe, "Aisi shakal mat bana. Dekha nahi jaata mujhse."

Devansh smiled widely without any trace of sadness that loomed over him just a few seconds ago. Anirudh shook his head, annoyed with himself, for falling to the same trick for the nth time! The boy can go ask their bhaiyya himself, just fine, because their bhaiyya rarely ever says NO to the prince. But obviously the boy didn't want to take unnecessary risks. If their bhaiyya is to scold them for carelessness.. he might as well yell at both of them!

Typical Roy Brothers.

Abhimanyu was in his study skimming through his mails with files, his laptop, iPad spread around, but organized, on the table. With a slight frown that came while concentrating, and the way his elegant fingers danced over the keyboard... He definitely looked like a businessman but his wife would have slightly deviated opinions. Nonetheless, she didn't disturb him while she placed the cup of black tea, with just two spoons of sugar, beside his laptop, before she walked away.
