Siddharth smiled softly looking at himself in the mirror. He hated wearing formals, or anything other than casuals, out of his comfort zone. Choosing the outfit of one's own choice, is a semblance of control. And Siddharth hated not having it, after he became the Chief Minister. Its an inconvenience which looked smaller in front of everything, but its an inconvenience none the less! But not anymore.

The fabric of his kurta, felt light and breathable against his skin. Most importantly, he loved how he looked in it. It was handcrafted by local weavers, in a small village, he visited recently. It was a gift from the people who poured their love and labor into each thread. He never knew he'll love it, when he accepted the gift. But now he is sure, he is only wearing this fabric. Keeping his comfort aside, he looked like a classic cliche leader, and he is also promoting the local weavers. A man in power, wearing the story of his people, with pride. It isn't a mere comfortable outfit anymore, it is a bridge between him and the people he served.

With a soft smile, dancing on his lips, he walked down the stairs. His smile widened when he found his Bhaiyya, looking at him, surprised, as he folded the newspaper and got up. Siddharth walked to him, and bent down, to take the blessings of the man who fathered him. Abhimanyu blessed his child with all his heart, before he gave a onceover to Siddharth raising his eyebrows, "Something special?"

Siddharth shrugged, and the mere act made him look so innocent, adorable, and pure, like he is, that it tugged at Abhimanyu's heart, "You look like Dad." He couldn't help the comment, but the smile that was immediately wiped off his child's face, sobered him, before he pressed a kiss to Siddharth's forehead, "I love you Bacha."

Siddharth couldn't help but smile widely, "Love you too Bhaiyya. I am not going to complain about clothes anymore." He said with a victorious smile and Abhimanyu ruffled his hair, "You are making a statement, wearing this Sid. You are doing more than promoting the local weavers. You are telling them, that their efforts matter. And they aren't forgotten, in the modern world we live. I am sure you thought something for their better livelihood. All the best. Remember, we are proud of you, we all stand with you. Whenever you feel like doing something new, bringing the change, fighting the bad - Just remember, you only have to fight the world. Your family is with you, always, no conditions applied. Hmm?

Siddharth nodded, "I know Bhaiyya. Hazaar baar bol chuke ho aap. Ab toh main bhulne bhi nahi wala hu!! Mujhe bahut bhook lag rahi hain. Khilaoge please?"

Abhimanyu nodded before the walked to the dining table. He is glad that his child is still being the child to him. He couldn't ask for more.

"Dev nahi utha na Abhi tak?" Siddharth asked, as they sat down.

Abhimanyu grinned diabolically, "He woke up at 6 and rushed to Basu House. Sonakshi ke orders hain apparently."

Siddharth's eyes widened, but before he could say something, Anirudh's shocked voice, reached them, "Please tell me you are joking!!"

Abhimanyu shook his head, "Nope! He is going to college directly from there."

"Jo humsab nahi karpaye! Jo the great Abhimanyu Vardhaan Roy nahi karpaye. Voh Sona Bhabhi ne kardiya? Vaah!" Anirudh commented, but Akshara whacked him from behind, startling him, "My kid, woke up early, because of his love for Music!" She defended her cub and Anirudh raised his hands in surrender.

"Ofcourse. If not for Music, I wouldn't have known Dev can be this dedicated to something, other than sleeping." Siddharth said and no one was sure, if it was a compliment or an insult, but since Devansh isn't present, no one dragged it.

After a comfortable silence while breakfast, Abhimanyu gently broke the news, "Vicky will be joining back from today."

Siddharth stiffened. Anirudh ignored. Nimisha, Akshara and Abhimanyu looked at Sid, waiting for his reaction but all they got a simple nod, "I know." He said, making Abhimanyu sigh.
