CHAPTER - 11 THE FATHER'S WRATH!!

Nimisha didn't get much time to ponder over her thoughts, as Abhimanyu held Devansh's collar and dragged him out of the house. Her eyes widened before she rushed behind her husband, who was already running behind Abhimanyu and Devansh.

Devansh wasn't even given time to cry, as his bhaiyya dragged him out of the house. That had Devansh's heart racing. But he didn't even dare to open his mouth. He looked at his bhaiyya in confusion as he dragged him towards their garage and stopped in front of one of their sports cars. 

"Get in!" Abhimanyu barked before he sat behind the wheel. Devansh rushed, not wanting to anger the man than he already is. 

Anirudh tried to stop Abhimanyu but the man literally raced away his high end newly bought sports car. Before Anirudh could think of anything, another car rushed to his side before his wife honked asking him to sit inside. He felt glad for her presence of mind, as they followed their Bhaiyya's car.

Devansh's eyes widened in fear as the car steered towards the familiar path. His bhaiyya was taking them to the same cliff he just raced. He looked at his bhaiyya who just had his eyes on the road, the nerves on his forearms were popping out, his knuckles were tightly gripping the steering. The mere posture had Devansh tongue tied. He never saw his bhaiyya that way. And that didn't give him any good vibes. He already started feeling sorry for himself. He should have never agreed to that damn race!

As the car came to screeching halt, Devansh looked at his bhaiyya, feeling nervous like never before, "Get Down and Stand there." His tone now was much more controlled but the fury and the edge was still the same.

"Bhaiyya please... Aap.." He trailed off as his bhaiyya glared him. His eyes filled up in helplessness. He shook his head trying to plead his bhaiyya but Abhimanyu was at the verge loosing his last ounce of control, "Get down Devansh!" He snapped which had Devansh flinch but the boy got down. He still didn't understand what to expect and almost sighed in relief when he saw his bhaiyyu's car not so far, but the relief didn't stay long as his bhaiyya slammed the car into reverse before he changed the gears and start rushing towards the cliff's edge. His eyes widened as he understood what exactly his bhaiyya is doing before he rushed infront of the car, closing his eyes and flinched when the car came to the screeching halt. His heart was ready to come out of his chest but as he slowly opened his eyes, he took a breathe of relief that his bhaiyya's car was just infront of him and he successfully stopped his bhaiyya from taking the risk which he himself took just a couple of hours ago.

His attention was diverted with a whack that landed on the back of his head before his bhaiyyu finally yelled at him, "Mazaak samajh ke rakha hai sab kuch? What the hell is wrong with you!!" Anirudh's heart stopped beating for a couple of seconds when he saw Devansh stupidly rushing in front of the speeding car. All the restraint he tried to practice vanished as he saw the act live infront of his eyes. The boy's carelessness for his life unsettled him like anything.

"Koi Marvel ka superhero nahi hain tu! Aur naahi koi super hero bachane aayega tujhe!! Just because you followed them a bit too much, they won't pay you back. Not Marvel. Not DC. No one..."

He would have continued but Abhimanyu honked the car. Anirudh closed his eyes to calm himself and the honk wasn't helping as well. He looked at Devansh, "Chal." He tried to drag Devansh but the boy stood there stubborn wordlessly. 

"Dev, Hat yaha se. Ek aur thappad khayega tu bhaiyya se." Nimisha tried to atleast coax but when the boy stood there stubborn, Anirudh had enough. If the boy is asking for it, then let him enjoy it as well. His pulled his wife away, leaving Devansh to his consequences. Only a strong dose of Abhimanyu Vardhaan Roy would set him right!
