*Finney's POV*

Today it's prom day. "Wooo High school dream, let's party!!" Right? No. I'm not going to the prom. It's a waste of time especially when your famous nickname is literally 'Finney the faggot Blake'. No one woke up today and felt the urge to ask me to prom. But I don't have that urge either. I have Robin. But it's actually getting kind of annoying how he rejects every girl who wants to go to prom with him, every other minute. This school is obsessed with him. Which got me thinking again, why is Robin even together with me? I'm such a-

A note slid onto my desk that snapped me out of my thoughts. I turned around, looking at Robin who nodded towards the note as a signal for me to read it.
I picked up the note and folded it open,

"Is prom today?" Robin's messy handwriting spelled out. I wrote back quickly and placed it back onto Robin's desk,
"Yeah"

"Dude, what am I gonna wear"

"You'll look good in anything"

"What are you wearing?"

"I'm not going"

"What???? Why not????"

"Have you met me? I'll get super bullied."

"For existing on one of the most important nights of the school year?"

"Yeah"

"Well I wanna go to prom with my boyfriend so you're going." I quickly scribbled over what Robin wrote,

"You can't write that."

"You're going."
I decided not to write something back. It's to risky writing about that kind of stuff on a piece of paper. Someone would find it and out us to the whole school.

Finally a quarter of the clock passed by and the bell rang through the school who immediately got us all moving. I quickly put my stuff in my bag and stood up straight, met by Robin. He gave me his usual smile and we began to walk.

"So, what are you wearing to prom?" Robin spoke,

"Robin, seriously, I'm not going."

"You are!" I sighed and dragged a hand over my face.
"Why is it so important to you?"

"Because I'm going so I want you to go."

"You'll be fine without me." Robin put a hand on my shoulder and stopped us both in our tracks,
"Please?" He attempted and I exhaled another sigh.
"I'll consider it." Was my final answer before I walked off.

Lunch came around and I found myself sat next to Robin and our collection of friends. Bruce tried convincing Vance that it's necessary to get half the day off to get ready for prom but Vance said it's just a waste of time. Billy sat next to me, drinking his apple juice while Robin every other minute sent death glares at him. He's still not over what happened in his birthday, neither am I. I'm still really fucking pissed at how he acted but I'm trying my best to let it go.
