A/n: Hello! Sorry for not much updates my life has been really hectic lately :(

Diavolo's pov:
"No, but it's alm-" Y/n was cut off when we heard yelling from upstairs.

"Just give it back!!"

She giggles softly "Looks like the kids are fighting again."

I laugh softly as we get up to walk upstairs, Y/n leans against the doorframe and I wrap my arm around her waist.

"Are you boys fighting again?" She ask breaking up their yelling, they quickly stood up straight and look at us.

I shake my head "What are you boys fighting over now?"

They stand there like little kids with their heads low. "I grabbed a book to read then..Barbatos came in and took it away telling me he wasn't done reading it."

"Because I'm a busy man, Mace!"

I hear Y/n trying to hold back her laughter, "You said that 3 weeks ago! And your still not done with it?!"

"Of course not!"

Y/n laughs "Enough."

They stop arguing and look at her, she gets out of my arm as she walks towards them. She grabs the book from them, "Barbatos will finish reading the book. Once he is done reading it Mace, you can read it. For now start reading a different book."

She looks at both of them "Understood?"

"Yes Ma'am." They both said and she giggles softly.

"Oh! We should leave now or we will be late." Mace says looking at the time.

"We should leave too my lord."

I nod my head as Y/n hands the book to Barbatos then walks over to me.

I chuckle softly as I wrap my arms around her then walk downstairs with her, I help her put on her coat then her shoes. Mace and Barbatos walk out as I hold Y/n's hand, I smile softly as she rest her head gently onto my shoulder.

She stands in front of the car door and turns to me, I cup her face gently and kiss his forehead. "Come and see me after your doctors appointment. I won't be leaving my office today.."

She giggles softly "Of course. I'll bring lunch too."

I nod then give her a kiss on the lips, "Be careful, I love you."

"I..love you too." She smiles then kisses me back. I open her car door and help her in. I close the car door behind her then look at Mr.Kim.

"Please take good care of her."

He bows "Yessir.", with that he gets in and drives off, I sigh softly.

"Are you worrying too much?" I hear Barbatos ask me and I nod my head.

"What's first on the list?" I ask changing the subject.

Y/n's pov:
"Are you sure you don't need me to go in with you?" Mace ask me for the millionth time now.

I laugh softly "Yes, I'm sure. Stop worrying too much.."

"Y/n-"

I cut him off "Stop acting like I'm dying or something." I giggle softly as we sit outside of the Doctors office waiting for my test results.

The door opens and a nurse looks at me "Doctor Lee is ready to see you now."

I nod and look back at Mace, "Stop worrying that pretty little head of yours." I smile softly then get up to walk into the doctors office, my smile fades as the door closes behind me.

I knew something is wrong but I couldn't put my finger on it, I sit across from Doctor Lee and she smiles softly at me. "How are you feeling?"

"I'm okay just a bit sick.."

She nods and opens my chart, "5 weeks.."

"5 weeks what..?"

She closes the chart and look at me, "5 weeks into your pregnancy."

I look at her a bit shocked, "W-Wait! Did you say I'm 5 weeks pregnant??"

She nods a yes, "Some women get pregnancy symptoms early and some get them late."

I look away from her as I remember 5 weeks ago, a deep blush flush my face and I cover my face.

"But there is something I would like to discuss about you and the baby."

I uncover my face as I heard that I knew something was wrong it could feel it. "I want you to remain calm and please no outbursts...the staff here is already nosy about you being here."

"Just tell me.." I said looking at her.

In her eyes I could see a bit of sadness as she looks at me, yep something is wrong..

I walk out of her office and close the door behind me as everything she told replays in my head. "Y/n! What happened?" I hear Mace ask me.

I get out of my head and weakly smile to him, "Worrying so much and for what?" I giggle softly as we walk away from the office, "I'm overworking myself too much, I need to rest more." I lied to him.

It was like a sense of relief washed over him and he nods, I couldn't tell him the truth or he will worry more.

I look at my watch and giggle softly "Let's get lunch somewhere."

He nods "Where?"

I shrug and tell him anywhere he wants, he shared a small chuckle and nod as he thinks. We walk back to the car in silence as my thoughts run in my head.

"Just tell me.." I said looking at her.

She hesitated for a bit then part her lips to speak. The words that came out of her mouth made my heart sink and shatter like it was nothing.

"From what I'm seeing in your chart the risk of you not carrying this baby to full term is very high."

I couldn't open my mouth to speak I just kept staring at her trying to figure out what to feel, think, and say.

"Your body has healed completely from the outside but your insides are taking a little longer to heal.."

She opens her chart again, "But just because the risk is high doesn't mean it's always right, some women are at high risk of miscarriages but they still carry the baby to full term."

I finally gather my thoughts and spoke "So I'm at a high risk of losing this baby..?"

"Yes, I just wanted to let you know so if one day it came to you miscarrying you wouldn't be so alarmed or in a state or panic.."

I stand up as I nod my head then turn my back to her to walk away, I couldn't even thank her for her doing her job..I just couldn't stay here any longer..

I hate it.

Before I walk out of the office I hear "It's not your fault, Y/n. It never will be."

Fingers snap in front of my face and I look up at them, "You been spacing out since we left the hospital."

"Are you sure nothing is wrong?"

I look at Mace as I nod, I smile softly "Yes, everything is fine."
