"It's true, I saw everything" Norie said as Aki looked at her with a blank face.
Makima blinked again and said "so, do you think you three can work together?"
"No way! He's a piece of trash!"
"But maybe if I can just work with Miss Norie that wouldn't be an issue...she's nice...very nice..." Denji trailed off and looked towards the black haired woman.
"You're sweet darling..." Norie said with a smile and grabbed his chin softly and Denji was about to lean in but Aki quickly shoved him away.
"I'm glad two are hitting it off" Makima says.
"I'm not kidding about the raise, I have to put up with these two for God knows how many years" Norie spoke making Makima smile.
"Denji, you're going to be joining Hayakawa and Chausikus unit."
"Unit?"
"This punk?!" Aki argued.
"I've already got enough troublemakers don't I?"
"Well one of your troublemakers helped save your nuts" Norie said as he looked away in embarrassment and crossed his arms.
"I told you when I put it together, right? Your team's an experimental one, operating differently from the usual method." Makima spoke.
Denji yawned as Aki says "what exactly is he ma'am?"
"Denji's human, but can transform into a devil."
"Damn right! Pretty sweet, huh?" Denji said proudly.
"And that's the truth? I always figured those stories were baseless rumors."
"He's special, Which is why he's going to be receiving special treatment. If he tries to resign, or becomes insubordinate...Denji will be disposed of as a devil." Makima explained.
Norie hummed as Denji asks "uh, what does that mean?"
"It's mean we're working together until you die"
