"I'll be going to work, Makima wants to speak to me about you. So if you're lucky we might take you in or just leave you somewhere" Aki explained as they stood outside of his apartment.
"When will you be back?" Norie asks as she was wearing his shirt and pajama pants.
"Soon, don't talk to anyone or if you see anything you press on the beeper and I'll try to make it as soon as possible"
She nodded making Aki stared before blinking and said "I'll be going now, and be careful"
Norie heard him walk off leaving her in the cold of the upcoming storm, she looked down at the beeper in her hand. Tracing the button with her thumb

"Hayakawa, I figured you're doing well with the bat girl-" Makima spoke with a smile as she sat at her desk with Aki in front of her.
"Norie, her names Norie" he cut her off but ended up stating it more sternly then he thought.
She hummed and says "then pardon me, let me try that again"
"I figured you're doing well with Norie, am I correct?"
"Yes, it's been 2 weeks with her stay with me" Aki responded.
Makima rested her head on her hand and said "has she turned yet?"
"No"
"Do you think she is a devil?"
Aki was silent before saying "no"
"I understand that, considering she's still human. Either she turns into a devil or gets possessed by one, since you did tell me she doesn't remember ever slicing a man into bits of meat" Makima spoke.
"Does she drink blood?"
"No"
"Then possession it is, let me tell you something Hayakawa. And I want you to answer honestly" she says.
"You as a devil hunter, do you want to have such person used as a costume for a devil to stand by you? Wouldn't that make our job senseless?"
"Norie is still human, the only hurt or killing she's done was when an actual devil killed her mother. She hasn't used her abilities since I've found her" Aki explained.
