Lydia's POV

I can't sleep.

I have tried but I am unable to sleep, it's 2 am and I am laying in a bed which is amazingly comfortable but I am staring at the ceiling.

Since the whole house is asleep right now, I get my phone and turn down the brightness and put it on dark mode before reading the notifications.

Rea: Hi, where are you? I haven't seen you at break I even asked Ryan and he has no idea

Rea: Lydsss I have looked around the school for you but you are nowhere

Rea: Are you a ghost? Did you die?

Rea: Helloooo

Rea: Come on answer the messages I'm no joke worried about you

Rea: You weren't in english and that isn't like you Lydia, you love english. The bitch of a teacher didn't even say your name on the register so where the heck are you?! I know you wouldn't miss your favourite lesson, you are missing Romeo and Juliet!!!

Rea: You aren't even in the library wtf where are you?

Rea: Starting to think you vanished or been kidnapped or dead.

Rea: Did someone beat you up in the bathroom? Did you start your period and laying on the floor with blood all over the floor?

Rea: Nope I checked.

Rea: Lydia please reply I am worried sick about you and nobody knows where you are, even Luca. Please I miss you ngl please just say something tell me where you areee

Rea: I will drive you home and we can drive laps around the street with Taylor Swift playing just answer your bloody phone!!!!!!!

Rea: Okay bye this is pissing me off.

Rea: I'm coming to your house reply woman.

Rea: Are you okay?! Did something happen? Are you hurt or anything? I am sorry for this many messages I should probably delete them

Rea: Get better soon Lyds I have no clue what happened but I miss you :(

There is a smile across my face, it's wide and I look over to the girl sleeping. She cares, she isn't a bitch who ignored people's feelings or anything. I should have told her though, I feel bad for that.

I close my phone and put it on the nightstand before laying back down and continue to stare at the ceiling. There's shuffling beside me so I look, she's waking up, very slowly but she is waking up.

"Why are you awake at this time?" She whispered before looking at me.

"I can't sleep." I whisper back and she yawned before giggling, "Your brother is having sex also I can hear him."

She sighed and rolled onto her back and turning her head to face me.

"I am sorry, it happens a lot. About the sleep though, do you trust me?" She whispered and I shrug and she chuckled, "Do you trust me? I won't do anything bad."
